That ring/frame around the screen would fit well on a case that's going for a retro futurism look. Possibly also a steam punk or diesel punk theme, with colors like brass, gun metal gray, leather w/rivets, or wood tones. Or on a build with a custom cooling loop that uses those colors for pipes/fittings.

The Tower 600 using a 420 rad is awesome. I also like the terracotta case, throw in some Noctua fans for the full brown and tan experience. Some of these cases are geared towards kids or e-girls streaming through.

When I first saw the Tower 300, that was my next build. Then I saw the Tower 600, then that was my next build. Now that I saw the CTE550, that is now my current target build. I like the Gravel Sand but not the Terra Cotta interior. I'll probably settle for Black...yeah, I'm boring.

As an owner of the Tower 200 and a 7800XT (332mm) it’s been so difficult to find an ITX case that fits the GPU and fits with my taste in cases. So I’ll definitely keep my eyes on the TR100

Silverstone SG13 is still the best Mini-ITX case I've seen. This one looks nice, tho a little big. I think Thermaltakes own Core V1 is smaller than that case, however the watercooling capabilities on the new case are on a different level.

I think the screen looks all right, but the design on the outside of it looks very gaudy. I personally don't get screens on cases. Most of the time is going to be on the floor unless you have the desk base to put your case on top of your table. At that point you have an ATX case on your table which takes up a lot of space

I still rock the C70. Changed the acrylic side panel to a similar metal mesh as the front. It is still a great case. Especially the way you open it.

@@GameslordXY I own a few printers (1 FDM and 2 SLA), but I don’t think I would trust a case that was entirely 3D printed as the materials can get brittle with age especially when exposed to heat. I would also need to design panels in multiple parts which would further complicate things. That being said, printers are great for adding accessories or mounts to the case. Added some decorative panels to my GPU and CPU Coolers and designed some form fitting HDD sleeves for my current case.

LCD on exterior looks goofy imo. I'd rather have one that is incorporated into the internal on a side panel or something like that. Externally it looks too clunky. I could see cases like the tower having small flush non-invasive looking panels on the front near main i/o. The optional addon LCD stands out a bit too much for my taste. These are all good steps though. I look forward to building my upcoming system in a tower 250 or 300 soon.

I think it might just be that people are to scared of doing things differently and CTE line are definitely very different from 95% of standard layout cases on top of constantly seeing comments of how your suppose to route the external cables from the gpu and motherboard that scare people as well. Then you have those who are now loudly complaining that there are to many fishtank cases which i could care less about long as it looks good and perform extremely well on top of the fact that i like being able to physically see, monitor, and overall just look at my pc parts on my desk. I think these newer one's look cool as hell and i myself did not really care for the whole sideways layout but after seeing them now im very very interested in using one of these for a air cooled build with the CTE E550 etc. some of the other ones were just way to big, so hope this one is on the smaller side but still large enough for a big tower cooler plus beefy gpu etc.

I think thermaltake has done a good job differentiating themselves recently. I don't like the screen either the round one or the rectangle on the itx case maybe rectangle on itx if they made it edgeless but it looks dated with that huge lip. If they have a bunch of extra round screen stock they don't know what to do with its better off on a fan hub IMO but its probably not worth the effort to develop.
