Warriors are painful to level. If you’re not dedicated to lots of end game raiding, don’t bother making yourself miserable.

They are the best alt to level. If you can funnel them greens and a few blues as they level they dominate. The second your gear starts becoming irrelevant it becomes a slog. Level a character that can farm or at least isnt gear dependent and you can level a warrior with alot of ease and fun

If say priest is the god.. with dual specs...can shadow or heal...you're focusing on DMG...YOU CAN'T DO SHIT IN A RAID WITHOUT HEALS AND PRIEST IS THE S TIER HEALS... Shadow is also formidable in pvp..

It depends, when not planing to raid and only casually doing a dungeon here and there it looks different. Warriors without gear are weak, so weak that Blizzard decided to give Warriors in later phase Diamond Flask from the sunken temple class quest. Besides the heavy 75 strength its use scales 100% with +healing which also snapshots. For example overall +200 healing will result in 209 healing ticks while trinket remains equipped. That is a God trinket. Somewhat similar in gimmickry for feral druids that for the vast majority feel weak too but with cycling through a stack of MCPs, Wolfshead Helm and some power shifting macros become good enough.

There will be only one god in classic, GOLD, and one who will have most gold is MAGE. Mages can buy Warriors, as slaves. No money for repair, no money for consumables etc.

...the 3rd is definitively and without a doubt Priest, war/mage/priest is THE holy trinity and that's never more true than classic wow, and they're absolutely the most necessary class in the game after warrior for all content that you can't solo, but sure, i mean, warlocks are cool and it's nice to see someone list them as anything other than "one of the worthless garbage pointless classes that aren't war/mag/pri/rog"

The Warrior being OP is mostly just Blizzard failing, which is why TBC is a much better game than Vanilla / Classic. First of all, they are the only tank since the others are just pretend tanks. Two, the Warrior absolutely sucks without support or gear, so they only rule because to min / max the game everyone else has to do what is required to let him do their thing in raids. Of course, there are those of us that went through vanilla raiding back in the day and will never do it again, because of the above, etc. I would much prefer to just do 5--mans with the not really tanks just trying to have fun and definitely not with the greedy fury warriors in the party and just wait for TBC, etc. when the designers mostly fixed the class mistakes.

The real reason is because warrior is the hero class and default class, like in any fantasy game, not just Wow. The warrior is the protagonist, the leader. The other classes are just support classes and side characters lol. Another reason why only warriors can equip legendary items and all other classes miss out in vanilla. When wrath came out, warriors were no longer the main hero class, and blizzard tried to make all classes equal, and that continued to retail wow. But warriors were the original default class.
