Case law is a district by district basis. But yes in some districts, often called prior restraint. That has to do with shining into one's eyes. Flashing a camera is also a 1st amendment violation.

It was the 10th circuit court. So, Colorado, where it happened, Kansas, Oklahoma, and possibly Texas, I know there was a fourth state. It's just case law for that district, but it can be used as a reference in other districts in court. If that makes sense

The police I grew up around walked a beat, got to know their community by name, would engage in normal conversations (not demanding shit or just barking illegal commands) with the people and would offer actual assistance instead of looking for the slightest, most petty infraction to harass them. They carried. 38 revolvers and had no vests, tasers, etc. They had good communication skills and weren't a bunch of chicken-shit tyrants.

Every single police department in the US arrests a higher percentage of black residents than the population percentage of black people in that area. I live in Raleigh, NC and the city is 28% black residents and black people make up 67% of all arrests. Police departments have always been bad, they are just being exposed more and more these days. Back in the old days, cops just lie about what happened and everyone believed them because cops were respected back then. I've been getting harassed by the police of Decatur Illinois and I believe I have a strong credible lawsuit on my hands because I was assaulted by neighbors, home door knocked of the hinges and the intruder entered into my home and burglarized my home after I pleaded my case to the local police 🚓🚨 and they over looked everything I sad then locked me up in front of all the neighbors who constantly harassing me daily and charged me with disorderly conduct and I was the one who was violated SMDH I need justice ⚖️😢

My take on auditor types is that while auditing isn’t my style, and a few auditors are too confrontational for my taste, they’re necessary. Good cops who respect people’s rights won’t take the bait. Cops like to justify their sting operations by saying it’s not entrapment if you were already inclined to break the law. Well, I think of auditing as civilian stings.

In another video a man briefly had his low power flashlight shining at a police officer just when leaving the scene. The cop immediately went completely wild and arrested the man. The cop claimed to be in danger of being blinded. But despite such powerful danger, LOL, what the cop did immediately after those few photons of light had hit his face, showed complete visual awareness and 100% proper physical coordination. Neither of these can occur if one has just had a dose of bright light in the eyes.
