I don't think it's that crazy that the Warriors didn't go after Zach Lavine. They already suffered through years of Klay being out injured, and they have the ongoing concern of Draymond Green crashing out and getting himself suspended again. Buddy Hield is a better 3 point shooter and is more available than Lavine. They also got him without pushing their total salary up as high as they would have had to for Lavine. I'm confident that no one in charge of Golden State is losing sleep over the fact that they missed out on Zach Lavine. The fact that they failed to pull off the Paul George deal and lost Klay for nothing are tough, but Zach Lavine was just not on their list of priorities.
