2023 was actually, personally for the most part, amazing to me. 2022 however, was a shitty year. That was the year when I hit an all-time low and was suffering from extreme burnout and isolation. 2023 started out tough, but I made a lot of effort and fixed some of the mistakes I made in 2022, and I tried not to be so hard on myself. I reached out to people, reconnected with old friends, went out a lot, and found a new job, got some therapy. There were still challenges though, cause it's life. Now, I'm still recovering mentally, feeling a lot better, and taking things one at a time. Wish you well, Mac. I'm sorry if 2023 was harsh for you. Hope 2024 will be kinder to all of us.

Honestly, I needed this video. I got pulled into a meeting early in December and told "You are being let go because we have too many employees, your job is ended effective immediately". It's been fucking ROUGH for me since then and finding a job is awful. But honestly, having someone just say "Shit sucks, I hope it gets better" is so much more realistic than everyone trying to offer help without actually having something to offer.
