@Aznvasions can you provide a reference to the source of information for Xata's wisper and blast interaction? Because I haven't seen anyone actually talking about it since the blast rework. About 2 week ago left a message on Dystopia's incarnon video mentioning the interaction and getting a response of "Oh, i didn't know that". I recently did experimentation to find melee Affliction true potential and I have some interesting findings there. But really I have heard nothing about blasts interaction with xata's wisper being discussed in video content. 9 days ago I posted a video covering this topic as a In game demo of what it did. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bpOQooR_a7lsh5I It's long but shows the interaction nicely. But I'm just curious as to where you first got the information about the interaction. As for the hits of Xata's wisper the damage ignores armor on the second hit and it has the void blasts hits scale off of initial instance of damage that proced the blast and void. So in reality the damage that the void does with blast is 30% of the initial void damage that trigger when blast explodes.

@A_Game_Zone The on death effect just triggers a blast proc to occur. And the coded damage for blast damage with no damage is 1, regardless of the source

@A_Game_Zone There is hardly anything weapon wise that forces blast. But most slams have a chance to apply one. Jat Kittag is a good option too because it has a better Blast proc chance on slam needing only base damage moding.

A beast with this setup is Wolf Sledge, thing has 50% base status chance on the thrown detonation, and base element is blast. It has a small radius but the status spread more than makes up for it.

wish it worked better on mobile which is what I play. hits just don't register sometimes.. well a lot of the time. idk if its map or enemy dependent but it sucks cause I farmed it and dumped 5 forma into it. glaive prime is the exact same way, xoris is reliable and the cerata is semi reliable for mobile. wolf sledge is a damn monster regardless and its throw is pretty

There's some danger of that if this becomes popular, but unlikely this is far too endgame and setup necessary. Azn is awesome, I always see the cool interaction and down tune it for practicality

Also Magistar's slam attack is 100% Blast, so if you put up a electric mod & use sancti variant to boost up status chance, it can also quadruple dip, pair it with slam mods it will nuke everything

@@noahedenborg4221 Not true, for actual use as a weapon sancti exceeds the capabilities of base magistar, the reason base magistar is often preferred is the stat boost from incarnon is larger, making it the superior stat stick for pseudomelee frames like khora.

Verdilac also has forced electric on slam attacks, much more reliable than the jank ass korumm combo. Gauss can also boost modded blast % with thermal transfer.

I saw a build for blast influence on a twin krohkur build (the riven had electric procs) so you could do a massive bleed/blast/influence thanks to it nuking a bunch of enemies

Ive been testing Falcor with and without whirlwind, and im pretty sure whirlwind makes it less accurate. It seems like the extra speed makes it bounce off the first enemy and go to the ceiling rather than bouncing among the enemies like it should.

That passes the sniff test. Lots of tracking stuff in the game tracks worse when it has higher projectile speed because I'm assuming tracking can only apply so much steer per second and if its moving faster its relatively less steering per meter it is travelling. If that makes any sense

@@jacob-2271 yeah this is the case with most tracking weapons, same can be a problem with the cedo alt fire if you use the galvanized acceleration mod making them fly a lot more straight rather then home since they don't have enough tracking strength to overcome the speed they fly at. as for me, i use a rank 0 whirlwind on the falcor to gain a bit of flight speed (and max range) but still keeps the tracking good

Sheeeit Azn, just use the hate incarnon and get the two 60/60's for blast mixing, and the 90% electricity mod. If you're feeling spicy, you could get a fairly cheap hate riven with cd elec with a third positive and neg stat pretty cheap. Slot in melee influence and walk around using light attacks, i've went to level-cap cascade with this build. i'm glad you're shining light on elec/blast-fluence though, not enough people believe in it.

Even if this setup is intrusive to other people's gameplay, most Warframe players nowadays are too dumb to use anything other than Slamkong (yes, even after the nerf). Melee Influence + Blast + Xata is strong, but they're not as intrusive as other nuke setups, and a lot of people would rather kick a puppy than letting go of the easy meta and learn how to use Lavos.

Couldn't you do this with the Duviri polearm? It has innate blast with the heavy attack and works swimmingly with C-O and the Elementalist mod but also it makes Tennokai a pretty funny mechanic; I used this thing on the first week EDA came out on Garuda and it's borderline nuclear.

I'm just curious why isn't no one mentioning Volt as a melee influence frame? shock trooper gives any melee electricity and Volts 2nd gives att speed and 4th and can be anything you want, roar, nourish or xata's. When i'm using it, it feels so OP. I'm just thinking am i missing something big about Lavos for you to be using him over Volt?

@@Casper-qs7oy volt is also a very good frame for influence stuff. Lavos has force procs from his augment, volt doesn’t, and the elec does combine with other elements, which is only a minor issue, and can save slots on build.

Would this also work with the Amphis with its innate electric slam? It doesn't have the best stats, but it has a 1.5 riven disposition. Or what about the Sydon/Vaykor Sydon because those have a forced blast proc on slams with 1.35/1.3 riv disp respectively and with better stats. I feel like they could likely work just not hold up as well to the weapons you presented :0

@@Aznvasions yeah thx for this tip on the falcor bouncing type (use the mod volatile rebound! ), it is actually better, and yes do not use whirlwind, use the free tennokai mod as u said. i also wondered when is it time to let go of the mod power throw and your reasoning with one of those 3 new galva mods also seems right, iow the same what i experienced on the falcor bounce build with much combo power, not the heavy detonate style ( madurai or naramon: pick your poison ) - good stuff

from my testing with melee vortex, it still feels like it lacks damage for any meaningfull amount, making the pull trigger hard to achieve. As for running it with influence, it does fair a decent bit better for higher tiers and the galvanized reflex gives you a good 60-80 or so seconds of duration on it, but still mostly seems alright for priming but it has a massive aoe for priming uses

Titania has an unintended glitch with melee influence and her exalteds . You can proc influence indefinitely and it applies to dex pixia. There’s some busted builds out there
