I was thinking if you wanted, you could make sets to be used in the bathroom or kitchen. 2 or 3 in different sizes would make perfect canisters for coffee, tea, sugar, etc. Even a set of 2-4 small ones would be awesome for apartment dwellers, tiny homes, vacation homes, RV's, campers, etc. Places where space is at a premium, but you still want things to look nice. I'm thinking of doing several using 1 main color to tie everything together. White #1 color Blue #2 color (whatever you decide to use) Gold #3 Turquoise #4 The next one could be: White #1 Blue #2 Green #3 Yellow #4 Just to give you an idea. What do y'all think of this idea? I'm extremely new to this (haven't made anything yet because it's too hot here to work in the garage away from people. But I need to work there for ventilation . It's been 100+ for the past week. Before that, we've been under a heat advisory since mid June. ) Anyway, I'm learning lots watching amazing creators like you. Thank you so much for sharing this ❤️

Please please please wear another glove, long sleeves and a chemical mask when working with the resin. I made cups for 2 years with no problem- wore gloves and a cheap chem mask and that wasn’t enough! One day out of the blue I had a violent reaction to the resin. My eyes were swollen shut and my airway started to close. Came out of no where with no build up to it just BAM!! Can’t breathe. Then, in total denial form, bought a professional mask and hazmat suit and tried again and unfortunately the damage had already been done. The toxic levels were already built up and even with all that I have a reaction!!! Was so depressed as that Art had become so much of my identity!!! Please please please protect yourself now so you don’t suffer the same end to your passion as I have.

Beautiful! Just fyi……been working with acrylics and resin for over 20 years…..if the “white paint” does not cure for at least 30-40 days, eventually it will turn yellowish. KS is one of my favorites but paint under any resins needs that curing time.

Not sure if anyone already mentioned this or not. Place silicone mat, wax paper, parchment paper, or anything where you can easily remove paint under the items you're painting. Remove the item(s) after pouring & allow the drips on your mat/paper to dry completely. Once dry, peel off. These can be used for jewelry, abstract art!, to decorate other crafting pieces, etc. You can use a paper circle punch (or other shapes) to get pieces for pendants. 1, 1.5 & 2 in circles are easily placed into metal pendant frames (? - Not sure of their name). In fact, I know hobby lobby sells those size kits & im sure you can buy them online. There's just so much you can use the drips/runoff for. It's like a free crafting supply! I've even seen people use it for the tops of smaller glass jars & then seal them. Your jar is gorgeous! Those colors just POP! Can't wait to try this myself. ❤

I would suggest you strain your Floetrol (panty hose around opening works) before adding to your paint. A bunch of blobs came out and that’s just going to cause problems later on also instead of using the nail board, I just put bamboo skewers down thru a styrofoam or paper plate-into blocks of oasis foam and then set it on top of a Lazy Susan so that I can get all around my ornaments And I can easily reuse the drips paint:)

We have a Body shop. When we tape off a car on sensitive and usually curved areas. We we use what the call fine line tape. It's just tape that is 1/4" to 1/2" wide and then you can go higher depending on what you're doing. Just like the tape we use in mixed media and journals except its not double sided. Use your fine line to out line project. Then take masking tape and tape ontop of the fine line. Anywhere on the fineline tape. On big projects. After putting on your fineline. You can put part of your masking tape on paper then apply to your fineline tape. Hope that makes sense. Oh! And never forget to go around your tapes with your finger so you won't get leaks. Hope this helps. We usually use 3M or Norton.. but I'd shop around because you're not using any air. I mean like higher pressure spray. Hope this helps. Also, I'm new to resin. But, when you're removing your tape... What if you take a sharp razor blade around the edge before you remove your masking tape? It turned out great!! You're too funny.. 💙 I'm going to try my hand in this too. I think..Lol.. l can't work on cars anymore. So its only my husband etc now..and this looks like a fun hobby. 🌊 💦 💫
