Thanks for the educational bits n bobs of this series Al - matter of fact approach to how to make a line, the difference between fittings and why and when to choose one over another, how to approach modifying a wiring loom (don't be scared you chooch just hack it open and see where it goes). Old rope to you, but really helps the inexperienced get over that first time fear factor. Woody - well done holding the camera, doing some bits to camera and getting your hair cut throughout - stoic action. :D

Quick question. How will the caliper hit the body if it sits inside the wheel and tyre?
@theskidfactory4 жыл бұрын
Depends on the wheel offset. It's just a general warning from the manufacturer as the diff width could be anything as it's a custom fitment and it fits 2 different vehicle shapes.

Did I see it correctly at 2:57? It looks like the rear brakes have a set of drum shoes inside the 'top hat' of the disc for a parking brake.

Yes, that is a really common way of making a park brake that actually works.
@pashakdescilly75174 жыл бұрын
@@theskidfactory My memory says you are using Commodore brakes. I didn't know that the Commode had this sort of rear brake. Earliest use of this arrangement I know of is the Porsche 911, or 901 as it was when first introduced.
