Ok I have to finally say this. Steve, don't discourage people not to donate and I really don't think you should get rid of the beer fund. Also, there's nothing wrong with being sponsored. You could be sponsored by companies that sell camping gear so you can test it out and let us know if it's worth it. Enjoy the money you're making on KZbin. Your subscribers love your content and are happy to donate to the beer fund. If you ever decided to be sponsored I would think that's great and I could find out what camping gear is worth buying. Anyway, you deserve the success you've had on KZbin and you deserve any money that comes your way for providing content we love to watch.

Found some cool stuff doing that, single burner for 2 lb propane tanks, citronella candles in nice metal pails, expensive tarps, tonka trucks and other toys, tools like hammers and axes, some nice marine rope with an anchor...Always leave behind you as good or better than you found it. I use to camp very similar to this with a 99 Subaru Outback I had, when I was in a band and would play festivals and needed a place to camp. I would open up the back hatch, and the back area of the vehicle was about the size of a twin mattress I would sleep in. I would build a little tarp/tent off my hatch, use my roof rack as tie-down spots, set up some basic camping gear in there, and it was fantastic!

My daughter and I did a trip across the entire US shore of Lake Erie during the first pandemic summer camping out in the back of a Jeep Compass something like that... We put the back seat down to give ourselves a full bed, and I ran clothesline around the ceiling in the back and hung up cheap flannel blankets from Wally World with clothespins to make temporary curtains around it. Then we'd just set up the screenhouse shade with our cooler, folding table, chairs, and fire pit right outside the back hatch wherever we stopped for the night. It was a wonderful trip!

Steve steve steve. I'm an entrepreneur in San Francisco, CA where shit is fucking crazy at all times. I watch your videos at night before I sleep. I see crazy wild shit every day, but honestly your videos are extremely entertaining to me. You balance me out, and I'm absolutely fascinated and just vibing with you no matter what you do. Your original formula is why you have so many subscribers. Idk how many people have to tell you that for it to sink in. We're here for your camping videos, and we love every minute of it

I chuckled when the tent stakes fell out and you reacted with pleasant surprise like 'oh an item I didn't think to bring and might need'....and then there was ( or wasn't ) the ladle. :-) there's always something forgotten on a camping trip

Steve always reminds us that his vids aren't geared towards teaching bushcraft or how to stealth camp..etc..just simple, fun camping. (Though he has reminded us over the years of a few things not to do🤣) While I now camp in a travel trailer due to medical issues He has helped me so much with rethinking how I camp, what gear/supplies I actually need and I always look forward to his simple, delicious meal ideas. Thank you Steve for all you do and for just being Awesome! CHEERS!🍻

My family is so NOT the bushcrafy camping type - but we're not ready to go to a fully enclosed rv trailer "glamping" yet - we just do lots of big tents, tarps, screened in shelter for over the picnic tables, using the car as part of our camp, etc - and we LOVE Steve's idea for simple easy to cook camping meals, and some of the gadgets and other handy things he's introduced us to that make our "looks like a homeless encampment" camping trips even more fun.

Or editing perfection! 😂 Did his drone straight up crash at 1:01 ish?? 😂 I LOVE how he just leaves it all in! I’m old... my vids would be an hour of WTH?!

Best part of this video was the wolves howling and you said “great” rather than packing up and leaving.

I love the consistency comically large portions of food you make. It’s one of the many charms of the channel.

Hey Steve, your videos always bring me a certain peace of mind and are my weekly little escape from urban reality on thurday, much appreciated. Those beautiful snowflakes are frozen water molecules shaped into ice crystals. Look closely and you wouldn't find an identical one in a lifetime, although they do all look like spiky hexagons when viewed by the naked eye. Every single one is special as is every member of this wholesome community you have created!

Great video Steve. You seemed to have a bit of an extra pep in your step for this one. Perhaps, the warming weather, new SUV, and getting started on the delayed adventure buoyed your spirits. Hope things continue to go your way.

In 2018 I bought a Ford Transit (my sedan was kept parked on the street) and up until 2020 I was living in it while working full-time. Every weekend I would travel the state and sleep in the forrest. Good experience. I even met a girl who was happy to join me every weekend. I had a full size bed at the back, a table and a kitchen stove, same as the one shown in this video. Nice chapter in my life. Sadly, back to my office-home-office style of life.

living in Australia in an area where it never snows, its hard to fathom how you guys survive and thrive, but, its great to see that it hardly ever stops you from getting out and about

I do like the distinct lack of snakes... Steve never has an eastern brown just hanging about. However I do get so worried about bears.

Hope you're proud of me Steve!!! I just done a stealth camp successfully in an army munitions base in Scotland! Video is uploading now. You inspired me to stealth camping so I went big my first time. Great videos as always 👌

Steve! I’m a long time subscriber from farrrrrr east in Newfoundland! Look forward to your videos more than any other show that’s produced by anyone, anywhere. You’ve taught me so much about just relaxing and hunkering down. Can’t thank you enough. As a fellow Canadian, the reflection of the Horton’s cup at 0:45 was amazing! You’re a true legend.

The RAV4 is a beast and very underrated. I had a 2018 AWD RAV4 in Maine... until I lost it, my paid for Harley, my dog, my cat, my son and my wife in the WuFlu aftermath. The RAV4 went everywhere I took my 2006 Wrangler, no problems. Enjoy your new RAV4 Steve. They are very capable vehicles. She took my TV, too, but hey I then fully discovered KZbin and you too Steve!

I can count on three, maybe four ‘summer’ months where I am, so I do understand. I love that you clean up trash where you are. When my daughter was very small, I’d pick up trash at parks I took her to while she played. Now she’s a bit older and she helps💕
