The problem is so many people are living in cars, vans or RV's now and looking for free spots and then they unfortunately leave a mess behind when they leave or they set up a more permanent camp which ruins it for the people who don't overstay their welcome and clean up after themselves. Now these access areas are blocked or have signs up that there is no overnight parking/camping. I think it's only going to get harder to stealth camp or overnight park free as more people are out on the roads living in vehicles.

Its easy man steve makes it way hard on himself for added fun 😂 thats how easy it is. Worst part is having to pack up and go home, not in the sense that you want to stay and dont wanna go home so much as its just annoying packing everything up especially sleeping bags and tents back into their bags which in sure youve witnessed steve struggle with even after all his years of experience 😂 go for it man
@ASSman864
@ASSman864 2 жыл бұрын
I think its coleman brand i may be wrong but theres a tent thats not super pricey at all and it folds out so easy you dont have to run rods thru the vinyl each and every single time it just collapses so easy, get that and an air matress, some trail mix and your preferred step 2 and youre good to go. Maybe sleeping bag depending where you are i live in the south so its rarely needed
@ASSman864
@ASSman864 2 жыл бұрын
There are also foam style yoga mats if you prefer that instead of air matress. I used one for years its not bad but man some camping places around my way are so bumpy and lumpy 😂 you have to find a spot that contours to your body lol. You may find nice flat places like steve shown in this video and you can just lay on the sleeping bag

This scenery is so beautiful! I live in Puget Sound, about 90 mins from the Canadian border. I've been here a decade and still can't get over the beauty! I spent last weekend beach combing and hiking around Orcas Island with my husband for our anniversary and we both still look at each other and say "We live here!". Lol we both grew up in landlocked Kansas so we never take the mountains, islands or beaches for granted! We live close enough to water that I can hear the ferry horn...music to my ears because it means open water!

So Steve, I'm a recent subscriber,(couple of months), and I love your videos. The last few seconds of this one really got me because I could feel the profoundness of your emotions, but I really didn't understand. So, I watched your full length feature on boondocking, and now I get it. I did this while at work 😅. I could see in your countenance at that time the pain of a world that let you down. But now I see a man that is at peace with himself. Don't doubt it Steve, you did have it all figured out babk then, because it led you to where you are now. Thanks for the videos and Godspeed my friend!
