Sorting the laundry has been the BEST - we used to do it years ago and stopped when we had tiny closet laundries in the city apartments - so much better this way!!!

The bins are working great 👍🏻 saves so much time - I saw on Instagram a Joseph Joseph three section laundry hamper/basket and it was nearly $200 😆😅 $12 each from good old Kmart AND you can use them for rubbish and recycling in future 🙏🏻👍🏻

Asking my son to be responsible for his own laundry including his sheets when he was 14 was one of the best Mum moves I made as it led to him being more engaged in other activities like cooking, housework, etc without feeling like I had to be on his case about helping.

When my kids were 9-10 , they were taught to do laundry w my supervision. Then between 10-12, they started doing their laundry which included putting their clothing in the dryer and folding/ putting away. As they got older and had band/soccer etc, I helped out. But I believe starting them early, resulted in them being adults now( in their mid 30's), who know how and still do their laundry. Another great vlog💕. Merry Christmas from Florida 💕🌲💕🌲

Laundry hamper makeover, those bins you used what a different way to organise. I have one of those but I use it f my rubbish bin in kitchen, 😅😊

Yes I have another one that I use as a kitchen bin - it's what gave me the idea as it was the perfect size to fit in my bathroom cupboard and a good size to hold a decent load of laundry - sorting laundry has been a great time saver - and so simple!!!

My dogs hate their cooling mats too. I wrapped theirs in a pillowcase and on the odd occasion, they use the mats after that. They seemed to like the feel of a towel over the mats better but the towels were too thick to allow the cool effect to come through. I dunk their feet in an inch or two of cool water and use a cool, damp facecloth around their faces, ears, armpits, bellies and inner thighs and that seems to help them a lot. If it's very hot I do that every hour or two. Only takes a couple minutes and makes all the difference. Also if you have any treats you can make and freeze, that helps.

Just a thought with Freddie and the cool mat : try buying 2 small ones from Kmart and put in a pillow case just one to start so he can have half on half off till he gets use to it . Welcome back and Happy Holidays! I would suggest a thinner blanket on top of it. I see the furry one, but something like a swaddling cover would be softer and Freddie would probably like it more.

He actually started to lay on it (I think it just got so hot he realised it was the only cool option) but I have also tried a sheet - he didn't stay on it - little fusspot!!!

...Forgot to mention, regarding getting Freddie to stay on the cooling mat - if you're agreeable a bit of peanut butter on a flat surface if you don't want it directly on the mat perhaps a lid from a container ( large enough so he can't mistakenly ingest it) refrigerate / freeze the lid to solidify the PB and place it on the mat ( it can even be ground together with his cookies or treats). He'll have a little while to get it all and he'll be enjoying a snack whilst cooling off. Hope this helps!

Love your videos so much and have missed not seeing you so often. Can’t wait for a few more over the hols. Make sure you get a rest too. Laundry 🤦‍♀️ She says with a house full. We went to Prague Xmas markets with 1 case between the 4 of us and somehow we have been doing none stop laundry for 48hrs his is that possible? 🤷‍♀️ I have given my daughter (15) a final warning if she leaves tights & socks tucked into each other or doesn’t hang up her ironed clothes she will be doing her own. My son has done his first term at uni where he had to do 2 loads of laundry (he brought some home a couple of times). He’s so over sitting waiting for machines to finish and super appreciative of getting it done at home 😆 Thanks so much for taking the time to film and take care
