So, I was on a crew in Nigeria in the early 2000's. The govt promised us 140K per man for 1 year. We were there to train the police and military how to use, and employ individual and crew served weapons. What actually happened was that some finance minister stole half of the money we were to be paid and we wound up being re-tasked to guarding convoys from Lagos to Abuja. A few times we were sent out on military patrols as advisors, just to come under fire and watch the Nigerian military throw down its weapons and run away, leaving us to fight a rear guard action. Needless to say, we lasted about 7 months and were politely asked to leave the country when we discovered the theft of our wages. Not as glamorous as it was cooked up to be, by either the Nigerian Government or the Company that hired us out.

I was on a 1-year contract over 1976/77 in Angola, working for Jonas Savimbi's UNITA. We were working in Southern Angola around Ondjiva and slightly further North. The job, since Savimbi had taken most of his army and civilians East to avoid encounters with FAPLA and Cuban troops trying to consolidate their hold in the Cunene and Cuando Cubango area, was to operate as Guerrilla units and stop the MPLA Government in Luanda from setting up permanent bases and eliminate any personnel that they sent into that area. I was there on a 1-year contract but ended up leaving early with three other guys due to a major pay issue. We were getting some 'under the table' assistance from the SADF but it wasn't enough to overlook the pay bullshit. I remember it being dirty, bloody and ugly with no particular rules of engagement, and way too many bad bush meals. I also vividly remember the 1000+ km drive to Windhoek in a very old, liberated Land Rover. The whole episode, honestly, stands out as one of the least thought-out decisions of my life.

Huh? 🤔 Spend a Lotta time doing CQB and MOUT, do ya? Hey- your safety consciousness and awareness are commendable, but in real CQB, it is simply unavoidable- just no way around it. You try to minimize it and mitigate the risks the best you can. That is where training and muscle memory is of paramount importance. I think CQB is the most dangerous type of combat there is for many reasons, including those you pointed out.
@MalaklypsetheElder2 жыл бұрын
@@bucksaw1 saying that real qcb is unavoidable while a questionable statement does not preclude safety and safety consciousness. Now I haven't done a lot of Mount house training or shoot house training but I've watched it done for years and I watch specifically retired sergeant major Mike Glover who is a special forces 18 operator at CIA contractor break down this video in about 30 seconds and explain what's wrong with it. All the training and muscle memory is not going to help you if it's trained wrong and incorrectly like these guys are executing on, so if you train wrong and incorrectly and make a habit out of it you've created a bad habit and you created a situation where you're consistently going to do things wrong in any dangerous manner. One of the primary problems I feel besides not being able to execute on the task at hand which is the close quarters combat if these guys are doing it incorrectly, is the danger to their other operators on either side of them which can be mitigated and can be executed correctly because like I said one of the primary issues is if you negligent discharge or shoot your buddy who you are clearing a room or hallway with then you don't have your buddy anymore it's just you. So doing it the correct way as correct Firearms instructors training and QC q courses and trainers show people how to do not only ensures you're going to be more proficient and be able to stop the threat and clear the area more efficiently and safely but you're also not going to create a situation where you are endangering your own teammates and increasing the odds that you will fail.

Buzzfeed have the entire story and people involved. So you have one gangster Mohammed Dahlan , a kicked out intel security boss of Palestinian Fatha who paid Israeli-Hungarian gangsters Abraham Golan’s murder Inc firm to carry out assassinations in Yemen on behalf of UAE who hired Dahlan to arrange things. The Golan company called “Spear” and its founders Isaac Gilmore and Abraham Golan hired Dale Comstock and company to murder at least 24 or more people in Yemen, they failed the first time then continued a series of assassinations later. A former CIA official who worked in the UAE initially told the outlet US citizens would not be allowed to carry out those kinds of operations. However, he later seemed to confirm the existence of similar programs. “There were guys that were basically doing what you said,” he said. “What vetting procedures are there to make sure the guy you just smoked is really a bad guy?” The mercenaries, he reportedly said, were “almost like a murder squad.” London, United Kingdom - The United Kingdom, Turkey and the United States have been asked to open police investigations into alleged war crimes committed by the United Arab Emirates and its mercenaries in Yemen in 2015 and 2019, and arrest Emirati officials under the principle of universal jurisdiction. British law firm Stoke White filed the complaints on Wednesday to the Metropolitan Police in London, the US Department of Justice and Turkey’s Ministry of Justice on behalf of Yemeni journalist Abdullah Suliman Abdullah Daubalah, who claims he was targeted in an attack, and Salah Muslem Salem, whose brother was killed in the war-torn country. Rodney Dixon QC, an international human rights lawyer in London, said the case, which was funded by private individuals, “highlights how a foreign state used its own agencies and mercenaries to intervene in affairs of another state”. “It is important that international community condemns this. If evidence shows that UAE acted unlawfully, then individuals should be stopped and arrested.”

Have you verified that there's a brain in your skull? You seriously can't google his name and read for two entire minutes? He's world renowned and respected at the highest levels by fellow Delta Force team members, everyone in the Special Forces community that knows anything about him or served with him, and we have the intensely immense privilege of getting to hear him speak, for free, to learn from and be humbled by (character development) one of the greatest soldiers and hearts that has made his life a mission of taking on almost any mission that saves others or protects others....while refusing to become just a killing machine. These guys have hearts of such intense compassion for the oppressed and abused, that then launches them into lines of fire that could kill them at any minute of any mission practically, and then they go back for more, knowing that no one is probably ever going to know how much they've done for others.

Yahshua - you know Him as Jesus - was born to a virgin, turned water to wine, taught, healed the sick, raised the dead, casted out demons, walked on water, calmed the storm, and fed a crowd of thousands with a few fish and a few loaves of bread on two separate occasions, among many other things. He was killed on the cross as payment for the sins of all mankind, three days later He rose from the dead. Forty days later He ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father. He is returning very soon, but before He does, Satan, the devil, is coming to pretend to be Jesus/God (2 Thessalonians 2:1-4). Satan is an angel, and he will have certain supernatural powers with which to try to fool everyone. He will, for example, be able to make fire come down from heaven in the sight of men. He will only be on earth a short time before the real King of Kings, Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, returns. When the real Jesus comes we will all be transformed into our spiritual bodies at the same moment. Jesus came in the flesh to offer forgiveness of sins and eternal life to anyone who believes and calls on His precious name! if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. - Romans 10:9 Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat. But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste? For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor. When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me. For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always. For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial. Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her. - Matthew 26:6-13 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.... To anoint your self, the sick, or a building for spiritual protection: Get a small bottle of olive oil and pour off a small amount into a smaller vessel like a vial or baby food jar. Use the rest of the bottle for cooking. Ask the Lord to bless your vial of oil in Jesus name. Anoint yourself with the oil by placing a dab of oil on tip of finger and touch it to your forehead, and ask the Lord to bless you/heal you. To anoint your home or other building: place a dab of oil on your finger and anoint the door posts and order all negativity and evil out of the house, and order that nothing negative or evil can enter into your home including piggybacking on a person entering, order it to be so in the name of Jesus. Anoint all potential entrances to your home. To anoint the sick: place oil on tip of finger and touch it to the head of the sick and say a prayer of healing over them in Jesus name. See James Chapter 5:14-15...........,,.,,,

There are a multitude of different story’s that are very similar, and in cases very close,or identical to Movies as well as Books that are related. One example in this case would be,Paramount Pictures Movie “The Contractor” staring Chris Pine,and Ben Foster. In the Movie the main character James Harper “Chris Pine”,is sitting around a pool discussing the upcoming Mission, and other details. When he signs papers,and agrees to the terms with the guy who started up the Contracting Company,he was offered 50K to take the stress off of James so he could focus on the Mission. I’m not discrediting Dale, just pointing out that he is repeating a lot of things that are in Movies,Books, and were talked about on a Podcast, or Show. A good bit of it is verbatim,or close. I don’t have a “Mercenary” background by any means. But have a decent background, and understanding of the Military. I have done nothing to write a book about,but I am a 4th Generation Combat Veteran . ARMY MOS-12B SAPPER/RANGER, Iraq 2004-2005 / Afghanistan 2009-2010 . Enlisted Sept 2003-DOD Sept 2011 . Afterwords a buddy,and I did a run after signing up for Border Security with a PMC, for the Money obviously. I am not an expert on this subject,but only pointing out some things. It is possible that it is the only way that they can discuss situations that they have been apart of. Then again I don’t know. I have never discussed anything of merit about any Deployment,unless the person was there,like one of my many Brothers. I had to comment on my break,so I have not proofread. 🫡

The Team House is great. As you know, the CIA has used mercenaries forever. President John F Kennedy was killed when he was struck by a bullet in the right temple fired across the wooden fence on the grassy knoll by James Files. That bullet was fired from a Remington XP-100 chambered in ,221 Fireball. JFK was also struck by a .308 caliber bullet fired by Charles Nicoletti from a mafia owned .30-06 Mauser from a second story office in the Dal-Tex building. Oswald was not one of the shooters; he never fired a shot. No shots were fired from the school book depository. Dallas Police Officer J. D. Tippit was killed by a member of the CIA/Mafia hit team named Gary (The Raven) Marlowe. Gary knew Tippit from their time on the Bay of Pigs Operation. Gary and J.D. were actually friends, but nobody was supposed to know that Gary and the hit team was in Dallas. So, Gary Marlowe killed his good friend Officer J. D. Tippit. Gary was very disturbed by it and left the team to attend college and live a normal family life. The same group killed Marilyn Monroe, Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King, and Mary Jo Kopechne. That's the absolute truth....JOHN 8:32.
