This episode was the best by far! Arryk and Erryk scene made me cry 😢. It's one of the most gut-wrenching scenes I've seen thus far. Both actors gave a phenomenal performance. That being said, I think all the actors and actresses have give top notch performances throughout this series

When this started, I was completely Team Black, and now after 12 episodes, I’m even more Team Black . Although it is hard not to have compassion for most of team greed. I choose Rhenyra for queen as I believe she is truly doing things in the best interests of the kingdom, for the most part. And, although most will disagree, I believe Daemon is trying to do the same. Unfortunately, he is not playing with the same information that she is . She is compassionate and intelligent and has a strong understanding of what is going on. Where Daemon is the warrior and knows that, in war, the innocent are the ones who suffer most. Is it fair or right, no, but is the cost of doing business.

Rhaenyra’s side is the True side of progression and possibilities. If EVER Insanity might end in DNA of The House of The Dragon, it will be with the rule of Rhaenyra and hopefully , her eldest son-if he, in the end, survives. She constantly moves, at this point in the war-to-come, considering the outcome of her actions. Her battle in the future, will certainly try her mettle, but I am by her side, as it were, standing with The True Queen.

Interesting variations from the book. It appears the showrunners are trying to soften the characters and give both sides equivalent issues like making the death of Rhaenyra's son and Helena's son both unintentional resulting from attempts to achieve other goals, scaring Lucerys in one case and revenge on Aemond in the second. Overall, the show is going very well and is very enjoyable. I am very much enjoying your videos, analysis, and commentary on House of the Dragon. Keep up the good work.

I found it really fasinating and rather ironic that Rhys Ifans who in his youngerr days often played debauched, drunk, over the top, out of control, bad tempered and very excitable parts in the scene where he lets fly at Aegon and calls him all the very things that he played when he was a young man. I really enjoyed GOT and have to say HOD the first series in no way I felt was as good as its Series 1 but have to say this Series 2 as with Otto showing his incredible anger, frustration and regret in putting him on the throne is very much like real life, in showing often how humans start out as and thanks to their nature and the problems it causes them, that only with age do they chnage and oftent become opposite to what they once was. No way am I in any way an Aegon, but as a teenager and young man and now 71, I now look back with embarrassement, great regret and sadness especially career damaging, lost friends and a much loved young lady I so stupidly lost - due to a very hot temper my ego and pride. The two excellent dramas as GOT was and HOD may turned out to be, the scene between Aegon and Otto is 'very educational' and is good because it makes an impression, is educational (I know for a while I was a teacher of teenagers) and leads people to think far more about them selves than they usually do BUT certainly it is not conderscending, over the top and indoctrinating nature of the 'madness' we now have of Woke in so much drama. It also being a 'fantasy' albeit in a similar medaeval period it means the insulting use of black actors playing parts, that would never have been the case in 'historical' medaeval times allows diversity for actors to play such parts with out (well for me, Jodie Turner-Smith to play Queen Anne Boleyn) not wishing to see or such historical parts being played in TV series that I and know many people now just switch off.

I dont remember if it was w the fortune teller on the streets before the brothel but somewhere on the street as she’s walking by/standing there are dragons and flames and I think it was connected to that question which would coincide w her actual death in the books. So idk, game of thrones said it first, and there have been changes this season but nothing so crazy to change a death (yet)

@@thecomingofchrisit0 completely agree. Also, with the GOT books (what is written so far) it’s 100% solid. No wiggle room, what is, is. (In book lore, not counting what d&d did with GOT) But, with fire and blood it’s written by different people as history book, by people who weren’t even there for certain/most events, mostly green loyalists, biast by hatred, etc. it’s a VERY interesting way to say, and I’ve heard that what happens in the show, is what is. (Which explains changes in the show vs the books) like I said, there are no big changes like changing a death etc but the book is a history book written by people who were not there (for expample luke babys death, the way that is all written) so I’m looking forward to that as someone who reads that book and loves all the “history” in it. As for her “knowing” her death, it could be like heleana in a sense that she knows but doesn’t “know” they’re fully making heleana a dreamer in the show vs in the books she’s not (which I love bc how would that be known in the books, sorry I keep bringing up the books I just love how it’s all written and how it’s all seen.) All though, per her death there is a very significant eye witness that basically solidifies exactly how she dies so if they change it or anything with any significance witnesses, it’ll be really interesting! It’s like with blood and cheese, the weight of how dark and evil it was in the books was a catalysts to my baby queen heleanas literally downfall vs the way the show did it it wasn’t as dark (which is why people are upset) etc. so changes like that that effect other characters will be great to see.
