Best way to explain a punch to Eddie and Brian would be comparing it to a bench. When you're half way through a barbell press (on a heavy weight) you struggle to push through and then the final third you press it easily because you're at your strongest in the final third. The same logic applies to throwing a straight, the end of the punch is the strongest part of the motion by far. You could have obliterated it even more.

@AlexBueno-h5g2 ай бұрын
@@tdawg6877 no he was talking about throwing your right hand (extending your arm) while internally rotating the shoulder. the way you throw a right hand and you rotate or turn your fist over is you internally rotate your shoulder and that can only be done while the arm is extending. this is gonna make it so your arm travels in the direction of the weight as it moves and in the correct position for the weight to almost push it forward contributing to more force transfer through the kinetic chain. Nobody knows how to throw a punch not even most fighters and those who do generally they know the technique roughly but not the body mechanics since they are taught a rehersal by their boxing coach, and so they throw the punch wrong when they are actually in a fight or trying to hit hard. If eddie threw a straight right hand he would hit much harder. Likely it feels weaker to him and that is because its very difficult to get the muscular coordination if you don't understand the physics of a punch or the movement mechanics.

I love the way you guys are constantly in competition with each other but really no competition for each other, and you both walk that line so respectfully and lovingly. As true athletes you both understand one anothers strengths and you genuinely impress each other and keep the other pushing to be the greatest they can be. You guys are the type of men that I regard as the last vestige for America via morals, moral fiber, integrity, drive, intellect and humanity. Young men now a days need this BADLY. That's not to say a male can't be a stay at home Dad and possess all these same or equally great qualities, for they can. They can even be working fathers who take the time to impart these important characteristics upon their male children, because I know my father did. That said, the strong male identity is becoming something many associate with negativity. They interpret strength as violence and the ability to manage a house as dictatorsgip. All a smear campaign against men. In my very invested opinion as the mother of an 11 year old boy, and as a woman raised by an amazing male influence, I must admit that while the love and nurture of a mother in youth is extremely important, a fathers guidance and leadership in regards to his son (as well as imbuing his daughter with self respect and self worth), is MORE important in this day and age where women think (were manipulated to believe), they can do whatever a man can, that they don't need men. They are WRONG. We need fathers in homes and men who feel proud in their masculinity opposed to judged or shamed by it. Maybe y'all could create an outreach? 🤷

Glad the guy came to give advice. These guys are so strong and watching them hit a surface that wont give like those first few punches was rough. You can see hes not hitting it quite square and throwing their weight behind it. No wonder it hurt.

3 of some of my favorite people all in one stream! I can't wait to see you in tip top shape Eddie. You truly are a beast. No shade at Shaw tho! And who would want to try and wrestle worlds strongest man with the leverage of 6'8" and 400 lbs lol. The imagery of his hand coverying over 2/3 of your face is insane. He'd take an average human's head off at the neck
