Turning the age thing around. I wouldn't date up too much because at some point it's weird that someone that much older wants to date me. Especially as a woman dating men, there is, at some point, a weird power imbalance, even if you are all of age.

i love arthurs perspectives on things because i found the older person conversation so interesting. george was making sense because he was saying he doesn’t talk to older people other than his family which is why he could only bring up his family, whilst arthur does. i feel like you’re talking about if the looks weren’t there or you saw past the looks (because different ages find different ages attractive naturally), and understood each others different life experiences whilst just doing normal things together. but george also makes a good point that your life would be at different points. i find it cool when people are aware of different experiences and likes talking about them. it’s probably why he’s so interested in law. this paragraph on the other hand is probably why i’m studying to be a psychologist, sorry! 😭 it links to their later point of “what age do you think you’ll stop making content” and george saying “what if you had the same characteristics, the same face (other than natural aging that they were talking about with the dating someone 89 which socially seems strange) so it’s almost like he’s learned something from arthur about looking deeper in to social interactions and the topics he talks about in detail, it’s making them think deeper about things around us. its why they work so well together even if there’s a bit of frustration and awkwardness. it’s good awkwardness i’m pretty scared to be awkward but my best conversations with people are when there’s something being learned and there’s a genuine interest and questioning what you come up with in them, even if it’s not actually practical. it’s like what if you just looked beyond social constraints and i like the idea of challenging them and what that would mean. if that makes any sense at all, it’s why i like smoking weed because people allow themselves to explore different ideas and it helps you learn new things and adapt. without making it your entire personality (like gym bros) and instead just as a hobby almost. that’s how it is for me anyway, sorry i feel like no mf cares but uhh (stoned rn actually, can you tell?)
