Cranz is right about movie companies owning movie theaters. I have not been given evidence that these theather chains care about the theater going experience and that this isn't just another avenue for control for them. especially netflix who is at least at one of their theaters playing movies that are being streamed. buffering in a movie theater.

And that Jabra feature is super super useful for PS5 users because Sony will not let you connect your bluetooth headphones to the console but will only allow output through the 3.5mm on the remotes.

My iPhone 15 pro max also has a bunch of very fine scratches on it. I use a case, no screen protector, but I never have and I’ve never had scratches. Dropped and shattered once. But I always keep my phone alone in a pocket without keys or any other object and magically this one is getting scratched up.

Not many people are talking about how Apple is taking a very huge risk merging a whole feature set directly to a 3rd party company, that can be a source of controversy. Hypothetical - OpenAI creates a huge privacy mess, Apple automatically inherits that mess since it they embedded ChatGPT in their OS, what do they do? Even if they say that issue is not present in their product, they still have the OpenAI brand directly associated with it. Remove the whole AI thing, messing up a whole product release? Very curious how this will play out in the long term, after all, OpenAI is a private company with its own board that can decide to do whatever without any control from Apple.

If the light phone added 2 factor authenticators so that way I wouldn't have to use a separate phone or app to sign into my stuff I would get it. 2fa apps are essential these days and if you don't have a phone that can let you access it whenever you need it to sign in on your other devices then you're stuck

About Apple and OpenAI model, my view is that no one knows. I think everyone will be in learning mode, let’s integrate and see, Apple will be learning, OpenAI will be figuring out new business models and understand acquisition channels. The Search deal with Apple was done when Google already knew how to implement this model of paying for traffic, it happened with every large provider before, so the step to be the default on Safari was super easy, just a matter of economics
