@@novatrace5660 modeling livestreams can be fun, but it can also be pretty intimidating as an artist and might produce worse results. You can also do a time-lapse of your work. Either just recording the program directly to OBS, or using a feature that Z Brush has where it records all of the actions you take throughout a project as data and replays them while capturing the program and saving it to video. The benefit of doing it this way is that it looks more professional, since it doesn't record any of the actions that you did and then undid, as those will be removed from the list of actions after you overwrite them. It will also remove any dead space where you didn't take any actions. The downside is the exact same thing; you won't get to see things that the artist tried and then decided against, and you won't get to hear their thoughts about the project unless they record themselves talking about it. If all you care about it seeing the steps taken to create the finished product, and you are mostly watching for entertainment (or are submitting it as a portfolio piece), the playback way is better. But if you're also an artist who wants to learn or you care about what the artist has to say, livestreams are better (as long as the artist isn't too nervous about it, although that can also be endearing).

This comment comes from Hash_Pipe on the SCP Wiki: Finally my bible studies class in Christian high school comes in handy! I immediately recognized the Parable of the Tares. While I'm not usually into Abrahamic Lore SCPs, this one is super well done! The giant creature in the hat and sack cloth is a Reaper. In the story in Matthew, "the enemy" sows the seeds of weeds (blighted seeds) among a man's recently sown wheat. Instead of going to dig up the bad seeds and risk killing some of the wheat, he tells his servants to let both the wheat and the weeds grow together, then harvest all of the weeds, bundle them together and burn them. Then they can harvest the wheat safely. In this telling, the SCP is a "seed shaped" growth of organic material that finds purchase in the brain before growing uncontrollably and destroying the host. It grows until The Reaper harvests the hosts and bundles them up to destroy them. Satan is spreading his lies, and if a lie takes root in a person, there's no stopping it. In Hostetler's dream, he is told to "Come upstairs", but he can't make it up there before it's too late. In Lang's dream he sees the Kingdom of Heaven up in the sky, then he sees a reaper, with the damned "bundled together like hay". The black and rotten figure calling his name was probably Hostetler, who had inadvertently spread the seed to Lang. I love this entry. It takes a story that Christ told his followers and puts across the same message, but instead of wheat and weeds its human souls and tattooed skin sloughing off. +1

I have lived many places in my life. I can discern a South Caralina accent from a Georgian, a West Virgina accent from a Kentucky or Tennesseean, Massachuset from a New yorkan, and even a Wisconsin from an Ohian, all from the subtleties of their accents. Your italian new york accent and slight jewish new york accent (whether intentional or not) is incredably fun to listen to. You are in my opinion the best voice actor on youtube, and if you were so inclined to navigate the politics in the voice acting industry, you could easily be one of the most saught after talents in the business. It's a privilege and a luxury that we humble scp enthusiasts get to enjoy a talent such as your's, but honsetly i think as spoiled and lucky as we are to enjoy your content, it might be ultimately doing you a disservice. I truly believe your voice acting talent could bag you an incredable career if you ever decided to tread that path. Although it should be noted your induction into the industry might very well be more trouble than its worth. Either way i hope that we all get to continue enjoying your compelling and masterfully narrated renditions of future SCPs.

I see so many comments on this so I feel inclined to explain for those who don't know: The SCP universe is a multiverse, an infinite one in fact, in such a way that it is implied constantly among many SCPs including there being a few SCPs confirming it, that technically you could imagine a universe with a single SCP from the whole list, and all of them would have their own universe where only they existed... Same for two... Three of them.. four of them... You get what I'm saying right? In an infinite multiverse, the way you explain coexistence of many of the counteracting or paradox inducing scp's in that, they don't coexist, unless specified otherwise for a single universal instance. (Such as there being a few universes where multiple 001 proposals exist simultaneously in several SCP tales). If there are scp's that don't work with eachother, assume they exist in different universe's rather than hurting your brain finding an answer that is already out there. On the fun side, imagine all the universe's you want with various SCP outcomes :) they technically could exist. The word "canon" isn't a singular thing with the SCP multiverse, so much as it's better to say "canon's"

Very unusual and interesting SCP but questions plague me. The first question is what's with the similar scenes involving a grass field and dust, this creature also mentions other dream walkers almost as if it is or was a dream Walker before it's death. Now if I was in SCP researcher I would actually try and get in contact with scp-990 for better information or scp-343. But one thing is certain, it seems that this creature may not be the villain that it appears to be, it actually might be a victim itself of another SCP, something bigger maybe the Scarlet King himself. Maybe this SCP was one of his sons from long ago that failed him or displeased him and now he's living out his punishment. However these are just theories and not facts.

I can't help but be reminded of the Dreamlands and Freddy Kreuger. >.> maybe the figure in the hat is Randolph Carter? I mean that partly in jest.

A lot of this Sounds like symptoms of sleep paralysis. Ive experienced it several times and its always scary as hell.
@Wastelander13372 жыл бұрын
Sleep paralysis is some of the worst shit I've had to deal with. People always seem to bring up the biggest parts like hallucinations and paranoia combined with paralysis and the feeling of weight on your body, but I haven't seen anyone talk about how slipping back into sleep while being paralyzed like that feels just like you're dying. That's always the worst part for me, and I feel like this article tries to capture that part of it and make a metaphor out of it

Yeah, the desert landscape, screaming girls, scalpel, grim reaper, dust, grey oozing organic matter, all typical sleep paralysis symptoms.... Zzzzz

Really like the model. Kind of reminds me of Slim Reeser from House 2.

when does dr. miller become prof. miller? he sure has got a ton of research under him at this point
@BrokenCurtain2 жыл бұрын
He'd have to start giving lectures at a university then. Professors are basically people with a doctorate degree that have acquired so much experience and credentials that they become teachers to the next generation of academics.
