I work for the railroad. They always told us that if a tornado shows up. Don’t go inside a building, go inside a locomotive and lock the door. Those things are stronger than a tank. Never mind when the video people comment under tends to show their now destroyed house and/or neighbourhood. I was born and raised my whole life in Iowa. I've been very close to three tornadoes in my 60 years. It's more fun than scary. @@helium5912 Cool. As the comment states, this is still a "Great live capture" and a "once in a lifetime experience." Get a better attitude.

Locomotive engines are roughly 400,000 pounds. It was fine. The glass is bulletproof and has a glaze on it. It can break but won't shatter. The cars... not so much
@realixx9375Ай бұрын
If this was an EF5 it could still break the glass and probably throw the locomotive too, in addition to ripping it into multiple pieces

But those were "double-plane". No worries. 😂

I can't think of a safer place to be when a tornado is going right over you, while still getting a good enough view to take a video. Incredible.
