I made this for the Super Bowl. Couldn't find my rolling pin, so I had to do it by hand, so some parts thin, some thick and some just in between. . The thin part is only like a cracker almost, My dough wasn't sticky, don't know why. It's good the photos were taken before as the pizza cutter did a number on it. thanks Jill. You are my #1 cook on YT.

I jumped right in and did this for supper tonight! But I made 2 alterations: 1. I did not do the tomato sauce directly on the crust ( 1 person in the family is sensitive to tomatoes)... the tomato sauce will be a dip or drizzle. 2. I have a child who doesn't like whole beans, so I made your Hummus recipe and used that as the base sauce on your crust... and it's amazing!

Hola Jill... Looks fab! and my kinda food! But I really try and do without cashews as too high in fat..I take it if I just sub the cashews with sweet potato and maybe a tbs of coconut vegan yoghurt (to make it a bit creamier) and add all the other sauce ingredients will do the trick also? - will make this for me and my lass on Friday.... as Fridays are always PIZZA night in my house! Jill I have Bob's Red Mill medium grind cornmeal, and I have a hard time looking up recipes that break down the grittiness enough. Does this pizza baked for 15 min. soft enough? It looks great and I'd like to try your recipe. I might grind the cornmeal down a bit more in the blender though.

What can i use instead of oat flour? Thanks
@mountainhiker48902 жыл бұрын
Quick questions about the flours... for your cake recipes you say not to grind the oats till superfine because it makes the cake more dense. Should the oats also be ground to a coarser flour for the pizza crust or does it not matter? And for the cornmeal, I have grits (probably too coarse) or masa flour (fine corn flour plus lime). Do you think the masa flour would soak up too much liquid? Does there need to be some more texture from the cornmeal? I'm SO excited to try this, Jill! Thank you VERY MUCH! :)
@wholefoodplantbasedcookingshow2 жыл бұрын
I would just grind the grits until it is a finer texture and the oat lightly ground too. Grits are a little different than cornmeal because of how it is processed but I think it will still work. Masa is a bit different too so I’m not sure how it would work
