All his ticket prices are the same price. It's really luck where you get. He was here 5 years ago, every ticket was $79. He also buys the first 4 rows and his crew goes around and upgrades random people with them.

I saw him too on this tour in Sacramento and is still the best concert I have ever seen. The entertainment level was off the chart. Basically, the whole show was exactly like this. I was fortunate to be in the sixth row from the front. No wires, but he did a rope swing and I could almost slapped his boot from how close he was. Such an entertainer.

I was 16 when this was filmed. I used to hang out at his gate in Goodlettsville TN at that time. Met him MANY times, bc he would stop and talk if he was arriving home, or would come outside the gate to talk if he saw me on his camera.. His mother was visiting him after this special aired, and she came down and we talked for a while. I asked her what she thought of the flying routine, she said that during rehearsing, she would run underneath him, as if she could catch him if he fell… he was such a cool guy who never met a stranger,, and still is like that
@DrewG-wd8ql2 жыл бұрын
I remember this concert was shown on tv. He brought a rock show to country music. During the show he would go clear around the stage singing to different parts of the audience and even jumped off the side and into the crowd. Him and his lead guitarist at one point smashed two acoustic guitars together and tossed them into the crowd. He removed a cymbal from the drummer set and handed it into the crowd. He semi retired for several years until he got a 5 year gig in Las Vegas for some ungodly amount. His wife and Alan Jackson finally talked him into playing our fair a couple years ago, as they had both made a few appearances there. He sold out the first show (15k seats) in less then a minute and was humbled by the sale and agreed to do a second show which also sold out in less then a minute.

That's exactly what seeing Garth Brooks is..a party 🥳 back them he would come to town for 2 or 3 concert dates in a row and we bought tickets to all of them, probably one of the best in concert, as far as country goes anyway.

He left touring recording everything for about 14- 16years to raise his daughters, when he came back to music a few years ago he was worried the fans wouldn't care or be there for him. I think his first concert back on the road sold out in like 2hours just as every concert he has done since. I believe one recently sold out in minutes. He is still the BEST EVER.

With Garth Brooks he sells out so fast the only tickets we could get was the last row in the nose bleed section. (And we would have paid more to get good seats). That was before he starting flying all the way in the back. He has always lifted off the stage. He grew up listening to rock and didn’t understand why country stars didn’t do to the special effects., so he started doing this type of concert.

This dude reinvented what country should be. He felt that if anyone took $ the worked hard for, and purchased tickets, they needed to be completely entertained. He’d shoot out from under the stage, round stage - no one just saw the back. At his career height, he retired to stay home to raise his kids. Once the were grown, he started going out on the road again. No flying when I saw him last in 2014, but still a great show.

Garth is STILL performing with the same level of intensity.. It's a GREAT show! He does a thing now where he goes to the nose bleeds and give random people a shirt that says 'high friends in low places' and brings them down the first or second row for the entire show. Sometimes he also opens up his sound checks to the public for those who maybe cannot afford tickets or just didn't get them in time because he's always sold out.. There is no show like a Garth Brooks concert. He's Won Entertainer of The Year 7 times. His philosophy is that "people pay their hard earned money to come and see me. I'm going to give them the best show they've ever seen." He gives it all whether he's playing at a county fair (he's been to ours 3 times) or if hes playing in a stadium of 100,000 people.

He's such a good guy and always great to his fans. His ticket prices were deliberately kept super reasonable so more people had a shot at being able to afford to be there. I remember standing in line at a music store, waiting for a wrist band just to buy tix. I've seen him 4 times and he's STILL a party, although slightly less running than he used to do. He retired at the top of his game to raise his kids, came back and it was like he never left. He still sells out stadiums in minutes. And the buzz of energy in his venues ... the intensity of waiting for him to come out just explodes when the audience catches their first glimpse. What fun this was! I loved this reaction! ❤
