I'm an old fart from Australia. I can say I was lucky enough to have seen INXS live twice - once in a relatively small venue (INXS did a "pub" tour in the early 90s), and once in a big open concert. Both times I was completely blown away - but honestly, they're still remain the best live band I have ever seen. Michael is such a huge loss.

As impressed as you's have been with INXS discovering their catalogue...they are only a snippet of the insanely talented rock music we have been producing over here, there are at LEAST another 3 dozen bands I could list equally as good that the world has (mostly) missed out on. Unless an aussie band was signed to a US or UK record company they didn't receive airplay oversea's...the record companies didn't want to lose any sales to foreign record companies in Australia nor promote their artists...so there's a ton of brilliant music we all know off by heart that the world never got to hear. And INXS always was such a great liveband, every member just talented beyond. Im just neverending devastated on the thing that happened to Michael, wich most likely led to him...."walking away from us". He just never became himself afterwards. Every girl i knew at the time had the biggest crush on him,and he dated several of the hottest models and female singers out there. One of his closest female friends said she knew "whoever he was with, would be the most spoiled, loved female",he took the best care of his ladies. A real ladiesman in all the right descriptions of the word. I think he defintly searched for that one specific soulmate,he didnt jump from female to female like alot of guys would do(and does). And if you listen to interviews with them,he is just this amazing guy all around. Long live his memory, and bless his soul!
