Herman With the Steady Aim attachment, the hip fire is about as tight as an SMG.

Just a suggestion for your future guides, since you enjoy putting quickdraw on almost all guns, the same as a lot of us, why not put in what the ADS is with quickdraw on, like how you do with rapid fire?

The MG15 actually was used in infantry combat, but rarely, and only near the end of the war.

Same for me but for the VMG. That LMG made me realise that if only LMGs were made more viable in more CoDs then I could reach my full potential as I was just always naturally better with LMGs than ARs & SMGs.

MG42 next for sure. The MG15 really grew on me as an LMG, especially in Hardcore...it's just so easy to use. I got the Blade II variant for it as well, which has in my opinion the greatest iron sights in the game.

Yeah the MG15 was the best in HC no doubt, but on core the Lewis was the best (not including the DLCs), otherwise the VMG was the best once it got added.

Just use the TTK formula and change the value of the fire rate. ((shots to kill - 1) * 60) ÷ RPM

This gun is amazing. I recommend using steady aim with it. Don't even need to aim around corners. Hip fire spread is so small with steady aim.

Lancepants I go full auto from short to medium range, while I tap fire at long ranges. It's just as effective and it helps a lot to tap the trigger instead of full auto when you start to feel the recoil.

PERFECT TIMING! I just got this weapon (blade 2) yesterday and used it a little and did awesome. I looked up some stats and vids on it yesterday but literally there was none. I wake up today, and this vid is in my feed! Thanks so much Ace!

You mentioned that this gun was built for aircraft use, which is true, however you also mention that it was never used by infantry, which is false. As the war was reaching its end, the desperate German Reich pushed these guns into ground service, to help keep their under-equiped divisions battle ready. The bipod and stock were specially designed late in the war to allow the MG-15 to be used in a ground role.

I like using this weapon as my secondary with Rifleman in my sniper & shotty classes. This works great in War mode! No attachments needed.

i really like using the mg15 in matches it is fun to use with armor division also i like putting the fmj on it to beat those sitting behind cover and not pushing up, which makes me lockdown an area on the map.

Steven Jumper just use the 1911 it’s by far the most over powered pistol in the game and it’s much easier to use that the machine pistol because it doesn’t have retarded amounts of flash

I run it in my armored class and my expeditionary class as a backup to my shotgun. I like it enough for it to stand on its own without any attachments.

The MG 15 is one of the best guns in the game in my opinion. I run armored division, grip and extended mags. I have so much fun using this weapon.

I use one of two Infantry (Shorty II variant - preferred but not a dealbreaker) -Rapid fire -Steady aim -Ext mags +Lookout w/ 9mm pistol and smine OR Swaps steady aim w/ Quick Draw Might try Hunker instead of Lookout though 🤙🏼🤙🏼

Actually, it *was* used on the ground. Luftwaffe Field Divisions (made up of security forces, mechanics, and other ground crew) would use these as their primary lmg due to the lack of resources that late in the war.

Actually many MG15s were modified for infantry use. They were being phased out on aircraft and the Germans needed to find a use for all of the surplus.

I think Armored and Commando are the best divisions for LMGs. You can shoot people in the sky when parachuting down.

I recently just got diamond camo for the lmgs and I must admit that I was pretty happy with all of them (not including the new one). I really don’t think you guys will hate any. None of them got me thinking “wow I can’t wait to be done with this f*cking gun” lol. The Bren was almost on my shit list, but once I got the 4x optic on it to help with headshots it became soooo much easier and honestly quite strong. On the other side, I actually think the Lewis is the overall best of the group. I think a lot of people want to skip it because it’s the first one available, but it’s a solid lmg and easiest to use imo. But both the mg15 and mg42 are capable of getting the job done and definitely won’t have you pulling your hair out. Just my opinions 👍🏼 thanks for the vids ace.

MG 15 has been my go to since I got the Blade variant day 1, I actually managed the recoils well but then they buffed it now its got no recoil. And the Avacado Iron site r so Mad Maxx idk

One of the best things that FMJ does for LMG for me is lets me delete UAV and Counter UAV much easier to kill them then having to use a RL. MG42 Please!

Its not a bad gun, but its not the best LMG at any rate. As for ranges, I am thinking, what about on griffin when you escort the tank, when you about to get around that last corner before the bridge enemies often spawn WAAAY BACK, they get so small you can hardly see them. You must surely be in 5 shot land there.

I really like this one. I prefer it to the Lewis I think. It feels more comfortable to me (even though the Lewis probably has less recoil) and it feels like it kills extremely quickly at mid range. Also it probably has the best iron sight in the entire game in my opinion. Honestly it is a shame the variants change the iron sights.

Harrison Mitchell True that they called it "Hitler's buzzsaw" for a reason. (MG 42) 722 Rpm on the Mg 15 fk that almost every time I go into buildings there's some sweat with a Ppsh/Mp40/ Waffe or Incinderary shotty camping doorways who tears me in half with his RPM compared to the Mg 15s . Gotta play this gun like a dick in the dirt and stay at medium-long range when possible.

Look man, the MG15 had the best and most satisfying ironsights, but it wasn’t the best LMG due to its low damage output compared to other LMGs. It’s accurate, and has one of the best hipfire spreads, but if you are a good player then there’s no reason to ever use the MG15 over the VMG, LAD, Lewis, MG42 etc because they all deal more damage and have a faster TTK than the MG15.

Even with rapid fire on the MG15, and without on the MG42, the MG15 only has 1 more fire rate but it’s still a 5 shot, whereas, the MG42 is a 3 shot, so the MG42 still clears regardless. I will say though that the MG15 has one of the best hipfire spreads, but it was never the best for TTK.

As an experienced LMG player, the best LMGs on WW2 imo are as follows: 1. VMG 2. LAD 3. Lewis 4. MG15 5. MG42 6. Bren 7. MG81 8. GPMG 9. Stinger 10. Chatellerault

@@GMAN1898 Alright so I may have been slightly wrong. The MG15 is a 4 shot not a 5 shot, and the MG42 is also a 4 shot which is weird when according to the stats on the gun it has 6 damage, and the MG15 has 5 damage, so not sure how that worked, my guess is because the MG42 has the second most fire rate out of the LMGs so they made it a 4 shot instead of a 3 shot which the Lewis is with also 6 damage. Essentially though the MG15 may be a little better than the MG42 due to having a superior ironsight which is my favourite sight in the game. It also has a faster ADS time with slightly less recoil and easier to control over the MG42, so with rapid fire and grip the MG15 takes the cake, however it is still inferior to the VMG and LAD.

It's very similar to the mg15: very low recoil, slightly lower fire rate (compared to the mg15) at 652 rpm, average lmg reload time, 50 round mag, and very similar damage profile and range.

The only thing better on the MG42 is 100 rounds with ext mags and less recoil. Every other stat is worse than the MG15.

Liquid I guess if your going by your often misleading stat bars you would feel that way. Idk. Maybe it’s just the iron sights on the variant I use (devils piano 2) with infantry , grip extended mags and rapid fire. The things dominates. He mg42 is also rediculously good. Hell, every lmg in the game is really good lol

Next gun? How about the Springfield. You haven’t done a sniper gun guide yet and I would like to see what classes you would suggest so I can try them myself. I’m also curious about where on a body you can get a one-shot kill.

Phil Vatonage snipers basically only need ballistic cal and fmj, ext. mags are nice too also, the springfield is a one shit kill everywhere on the body

No that I think of it, most of the division prestige weapons suck when it comes down to the numbers. The SVT sucks. The sawed of shotgun sucks. The mg42 is.... decent.... but worse than the mg 15.
