I got to visit the coast right about where you are nearly 20 years ago, and loved it, but can't travel now so I enjoy it through your eyes. That hive tamed down a bit, huh? Sure was a big one! Greetings and salutations from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦! I would like to just say, I really appreciate your artistic skills in photography! Thank you for sharing all of the shots regarding "oceanic" adventures! Where I live, I am absolutely nowhere near Salt water so I dont get to see anything that you see. We don't even have tides in our famous Great Lakes etc. We do get the Frost, and yes, many feet of snow each winter with colder than -30°C winters, and over 100°F summers! We also don't get hurricanes here but have occasionally had tornadoes (not like your mid west though like tornado alley). Anyway, thank you for sharing all that nature has to give you in your neck of the woods and of course your "way. Of. Life." beekeeping adventures. God bless you and your Mrs and family and may He keep you all safe through this Pandemic, and always.

Thanks for the coast shots. I used to live in the holly hills subdivision north biloxi back in the early and mid 70’s and up until recently one of my aunts lived on arbor vista drive in ocean springs so i always enjoy the highway 90 videos along with the cutouts .

In the vlog where he removes some yellow jackets from under a building (the one were he and his father end up discovering that the hive was much, much bigger than they originally thought it was) he does put some gloves on. He says in that vlog that the one on his left hand is a welding glove and the one on his right hand is a bee protection glove. He said in that vlog that all up he got stung by the yellow jackets about 100 times, so he does have a high sting limit to make him wear some gloves. I think the year that vlog was posted was 2015.

This was a really interesting hive and cut out. shame you were unable to film more and I was disappointed when it ended. Can't wait for the next part. Also really enjoy you working with Pete. He's a great character. Finally, with your interest in photography and being close to the beach, I was led to think of a photographer friend of mine. He has a company here in the UK called 'The day that' and they take photographs of dawn/sunrise over the beach every morning of the year and people buy them as commemorative things.. i.e the morning we got married, our child was born etc. interesting concept I thought but it does mean rising early every day!

I looked for a K1000 for a while. Couldn't find a good one locally. I got a Yashika Electro 35 GSN with all kinds of extras about a year ago. Still haven't used it. LOL I haven't tried developing my own yet but it's on the bucket list.

@@628DirtRooster B&W film is super easy to process and enlarge. Color processing is a whole other situation. And much more tuning with the colors on the enlargements. But still fun stuff.

I just wanted to that your videos that capture the coast make me miss it. I’m an active duty Marine and was stationed down there from 2008 to 2012. The Mississippi Gulf Coast will always be a special place to me since that’s where I met my wife. Maybe one day when I decide to hang up the uniform we will call the gulf coast home again. In the meantime, it’s North Carolina.

I loved the early morning fog pictures! I think you should sell some of your photos. I would definitely buy some prints of some of the shots I’ve seen you take. The hurricane damage was sad. The low tide photos were awesome, and I love your composition choices. 👍😊❤️ The bees were a little angry....and you wore a suit! That double ceiling was insane and gross, and looked awful to deal with as it let the bees go flying. That seemed like an unfun cutout!
