See, this is why Brambleclaw is my least favorite character in Warriors. He’s like an on and off switch. He rather loves Squirrelflight or absolutely hates her. Honestly, she should’ve stayed with Ashfur. He cared for her deeply. Though she didn’t love him like she loved Brambleclaw at the time, I don’t get how she could still have interest in him after all he’s done to her. If he was a true mate and actually loved her, maybe he’d show it for once. Edit: I’ve found out the replies are arguing. Let me discuss a few things. Squirrelflight’s lie: Squirrelflight had lied saying the three were her kits. When they found out, they were very upset. Some people don’t realize that Squirrelflight told Ashfur they weren’t hers to save her kits lives! She sacrificed herself by telling her biggest secret. If Squirrelflight continued to play that lie, the kits would’ve been dead! The series would be over! No more power of three! No more Jayfeather or Lionblaze. No more. I understand the three being upset so I’m not hating on them (Although I’m not a fan of them) But Squirrelflight still loved them as if they were her own: No matter how much anger they took out on her. And one more thing. We can all have our own opinions! Please don’t argue over if you think Brambleclaw is in the wrong, or if Squirrelflight is. We all have a point and we can think what we want. I can’t remember if I ever posted but I NEED this song in my playlist. You don’t understand how much I correlated with this. I recently went through a harsh break up after a 3 year relationship after he became borderline abusive with neglect.
