That’s why I really haven’t invested in watching “new” shows for the last decade. They all seem to revamp original shows I’ve seen in the past 30+ years. Sex and the city was tongue and cheek homage to golden girls butHot in Cleveland was brazen in their attempt to capture that magic to the point of getting Betty white to be the faux Sophia. Even down to the character and banter..... I’m not knocking the actors and their parts, just bored with what writers do and producers foist upon us as their own work.
