Actually, there were only three people singing on this song: Freddie, Roger Taylor and Brian May. They stacked vocal track on top of vocal track on top of vocal track on top of vocal track to make it sound like a choir. It was Freddie's idea. Very smart.

Guys love the reaction, but can I just remind you and some who have commented that this wasn't Freddie and Queen....The group was called Queen, and was made up of four people, Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon. Sure, Freddie was the front man, but the sound of this amazing band was made up equally by these four magnificent musicians, and without one of these men, the sound would have been different and would not have been Queen! The accolades that people want to bestow upon Freddie are fine, but can't without all fairness be done without doing so in at least equal measure to the other three members of the band....Remember, it was not Freddie and Queen, it was a collective QUEEN!!
@johngraham59962 жыл бұрын
yeh it annoys me when i see people commenting "freddie mercury and Queen", it's as if john, brian and roger were freddie's backing band, you're 100% correct in saying without any one of them it would'nt be the Queen sound, deac's was'nt only a bass player and was as important as any of the others! 👑✊🇬🇧
