I would argue the largest $ savings Graham is getting and not accounted for in that $13k investment figure is his already-established personal brand and online following, drastically reducing marketing overhead for market penetration. That marketing cost for initial brand exposure would be significantly higher for most of us. Graham also has the benefit of being able to leverage that preexisting personal brand for immediate sale volume at launch, resulting in a much more rapid reinvestment into his company than most of us would be able to experience. Not trying to diminish this awesome venture, just calling out that trying to reproduce Graham's success in this would be much costlier and take much more time to reach similar scale.

The Bankroll logo exceptionally clever. Cease and Desist aside, it's good that you changed the name from Bru because there was already an existing coffee brand named Bru. It's an instant coffee available at Walmart and thru Amazon among other places. Their brand colors and style aren't as sophisticated as yours, however. It's a shame someone on your team hadn't perform a google search when proposing Bru and then drafting subsequent concepts.

You make mistakes in business and learn from them. I (not a lawyer) worked with a patent lawyer for a while helping with the due diligence - you have to search the proper places including google (& google patents, a whole world of easily searchable IP), company registration sites, trademark registration sites etc. An easy mistake to make if you jump right in but not one you make twice hopefully.

I think the Bankroll Coffee brand is perfect! I'll buy some when my current stash gets low. One thing that apparently got missed though - the $.20 formula is based on a 16 ounce bag, and the pictures show 12 ounce bags...
