I put mine in but the after market regular frame was off by 2mm top and bottom. Had to use my drill and widen mount holes for it to fit right but now window needs assistance when going all the way up to close right. Do you think I should make hole on the right side 1mm wider so the regulator is more central. Do you think that would fix the problem? Also when at the lowest position the glass is not Level part of the tip at the door handle sticks up some. It still works but its off by a little bit it seems.

My same window just up and decided to randomly work/not work this past week. Thinking loose connection or motor could be going, don't think it's regulator since it still does go up and down without issue when it chooses to. Any thoughts before I just replace the whole setup?

Probably the window motor. Comes with the regulator

I'm not in Florida but what's a fair price to pay a guy (non shop) to do this (no new glass)??

$380 plus tax for the regulator. BUT, you'll probably need to also replace the glass to get the new clips that are on the glass.
