Thiakry/Degue Millet Porridge Recipe
Ingredients: 1 packet of Thiakry (12 oz). 1 container of sour cream (16 oz). 1 container of yogurt (16 oz). 1 can of evaporated milk. About 200ml of half and half. Sugar. Nutmeg. Vanilla extract or orange blossom water (You can use 1, 2 or all 3 flavors). Raisins.
In a large bowl, combine: the yogurt, sour cream, and the evaporated milk. Whip. Add the flavors and sugar. Whip. Add some of the half and half. Add the cooked and cooled thiakry. Combine. Add the raisins. Add more half and half if desired. Add the raisins. Serve cold.
