This is what I’ve noticed about lean people: They don’t snack often. They don’t always snack when watching a movie. Fat folks do. They grossly overestimate what they ate. Fat folks often underestimate what they ate. Lean folks are actually motivated to walk, cycle, whatever. Fat folks often use their car or take the bus or whatever. Lean folks don’t mind when dinner plans aren’t realized. When they’re hanging out with their friends and having a good time, and no one mentions dinner anymore, they’re fine with that. Lean people forget to eat often. They don’t prioritize a meal unless they’re relaly hungry. Or they’re often too lazy to prepare something or go get something. Lean people view foods with few calories as good enough options for snacks or meals. Once they’re no longer hungry, they don’t feel like eating something that actually is a meal.

I really appreciated this video. I am thin, I’m just not eating very healthy at this time. I lost my husband 5 mos. ago & am working on changing my eating habits. I don’t eat very much, now less if it requires cooking for one. Everything you said is very true for me. I’m going to look into the Mediterranean diet, just as a guide to try & eat enough important food. Good video.

When I was thin the one thing which helped so much was a moderate appetite. I guess I was born with it. I'm 60 now, when I stop having sugary food, my moderate appetite comes back.

In fact, as a thin person, I look for other ways to discharge my stress simply because I am UNABLE TO eat - it is not really a conscious choice on my part. Other than that, everything really does apply to me too.

Especially if your thinner then your stomach is smaller so they get fuller faster. My sister is thin but she eats mostly unhealthy (fried foods, chips, etc.) but in small portions. And apart from school, she’s lazy. I guess it’s mostly the fast metabolism. But everyone’s bodies are different, you may have to exercise more frequently to maintain a healthy weight (if you have a slower metabolism). I was mostly thin (except I’ve had a hormonal belly pretty much all my life), and started gaining weight for no reason (my eating habits didn’t even change) a few years ago. Later I found out that I developed PCOS.

Very accurate ! I've been studying them too & naturally Skinny ppl just eat in moderation. When they say "I eat anything" that's what they mean. They never over do it.

This video deserves more likes and views😊 thank you for the info, so true. My roommate was very skinny and she would eat everything but in moderation. I still remember how she was eating a snickers bar and couldnt finish it because she was full, she kept it in the fridge lol, I was surprised.

Apparently the Mayo Clinic diet just looked at what I did and named it after themselves, never called it a diet. BMI - 18.9-19.0.

Thank you for these observations. It is easy to get into some eating addiction because food is easily accessible, can be quite affordable and eating is a natural comforting behaviour. In the future hopefully somebody can develop a behaviour therapy for fighting food addiction. It seems the only safe choice presently is to rely on GLP-1 receptor agonists for fighting eating addiction.
