Very well explained. I have embarked on a low carb diet (kinda' like Keto). Lost 15 lbs since end of June (2021) -- Now Oct 1 2021. Lost 3 inches from around abdomen (44 to 41). Now 71, I wish I would have taken advantage of these things earlier -- but, no time like the present. Thanks!!!

I try to avoid carbs but it's really HARD! On to your video on what foods to eat. Hopefully that will help me eliminate carbs by replacing with other foods

Something I did was bought a bunch of "California style" frozen vegetables. Season and cook as many as you can in the oven, then freeze some and save enough for 2-3 days in the fridge. This makes it easier and frees up your schedule! (I simply add a tiny bit of water and microwave to warm up.) Frozen green beans can go in boiling water; turn off, and leave while you're working on the ones you want to put in the oven. Season the green beans afterwards. Freeze half, fridge half. This has made it easier for me to get off of potatoes!

Hi Brian, thanks much for the cool and informative videos! I'm wondering why you're always using kCalories (Kilo=1000x)? I see that you're actually referring "non-Kilo, 1000x" amounts. 200 calories is not 200k Calories unless your usage of kilo is something different?

Hi Dr. Brian😃👋 I know that Spot training or fat loss targetting does not work. Or atleast the general consensus is it doesn't work. But scientifically speaking, won't spot training or targetting fat loss from one area expand the blood vessels capillary network in that particular area by increasing blood flow to that area?? Thus increasing the probability of visceral fat Oxadisation /lipolysis from that particular area, atleast to some extent as a result of targeted spot training?? 🤔 Theoretically and scientifically my hypothesis makes sense. There has to be a reason why a beginer can't flex/twitch certain muscles (chest, shoulders) at first but after training for a few months is able to twitch/flex the muscles he wasn't able to earlier.
