You are definitely allowed to end a sentence in a preposition! It's a myth that you cannot! For instance, think of this sentence: What are you sitting on? It makes perfect logical sense and is not incorrect in the slightest. Fun fact!

So John, my friend just recently started reading TFiOS and very near the end now and she told me that she wasn't aware that she could feel this wide range of emotions all at one time. She is so happy that I told her about this beautiful story and can't wait to read more of John's work. I am so happy to have this new thing to talk to her about and am eager to analyze the book with her. John, thank you so much for this beautiful, beautiful story. With love, Amanda

Dear John, I live in Ireland. I used to feel really sad when you'd talk about your books or cool stuff, because frankly not many people know you to are in my area(gasp i know right). while I was shopping the last day I stumbled into a book store hoping I might find your book and by chance it was there. Right on the no.1 spot. I stood in front of it smiling like a goof for a good while. Then I hastily picked it up and brought it and I honestly say I been so happy since then. Thanks John. DFTBA

Avis Wong Question: when people have a set number of books they want to read in a year, are there parameters regarding the length and content of the book? In other words, do short stories or books with a considerable amount illustrated space count?
@Anybol
@Anybol 9 жыл бұрын
Leah Markum I'm doing 50 books this year (which in retrospect is far too little), and basically I think its up to the individual. My criteria is anything that's 1) fiction, and 2) long enough to be published individually (50+ pages). The only illustrated books I think that meet those criteria are comics/manga, and I don't count those.

She looked through the book and saw a signature and a drawing of an angler fish. She came to find me in my room asking "What is this? Were you planning on telling me you had a hanklerfish?" Confused, I asked about it. Apparently, she was a huge fan of your writing ad videos. I recently searched your name, and ended up here. I am now a fan as well. I know this is late and all, and there are certainly more recent videos I could put this on, but mention of your book made this seem relevant.

So, funny story, I was looking through tfios trying to find this mysterious "last word of acknowledgements" to get into the blog... I basically ended up re-reading the last few chapters trying desperately to figure out what it was. Suddenly, it hit me! Oh wow. I went to the used book store the other day, and I picked up the book 'The Fault in Our Stars'. It was great. better yet, it had a sticker on it that read 'signed copy'. I thought that was wonderful, having a cheap book at the same price as the others be signed as well. I didn't anticipate how much I'd love your writing. Later, my friend went searching through my stuff and stumbled across the book, seeing the sticker.
