I actually had an NCO do my NCOER and checked all needs improvement. 1sg was so pissed, he wrote my NCOER, fired my NCO and then put me in charge of our squad with my NCO falling in line next to me
@majorhawker47765 жыл бұрын
That is funny. I had a Plt. Sgt. like that. he would say stupid shit like, "You wouldn't do that in COMBAT", me being fresh from Iraq with a nice shiney (ok blacked) CIB, raised my hand and stated actually Sgt. We did do that in Combat, maybe you missed the memo. He hated me, the CO and 1st assigned my Plt Ldr to run interference for me but would not transfer me out of the Platoon. They wanted to bag the Plt. Sgt. badly and hoped he would do something stupid towards me. He wrote me up 7 times for insubordination, each one unsubstantiated. Man I hated that prick. also he was one of those I have an EIB that outways your CIB attitudes.

Servicemember sold all TA50 to local pawn shops to pay for abortion for his underaged girlfriend. Servicemember repeatedly counseled for recurring use of racial epithets. Servicemember bribed grader for passing APFT score. Servicemember mooned Base commander during family day festivities. Servicemember under investigation for selling pork chops as halal lamb chops to interpreters. Servicemember caught selling fake IDs to underaged students at nearby university. Servicemember caught with underaged female in his room after hours. Servicemember defecated in the grog bowl at Unit Holiday party. Servicemember popped hot on urinalysis for koala tranquilizer. SDO caught servicemember rubbing his genitalia on the battalion commander’s coffee mug. Since accident in country, servicemember refers to first sergeant as “One Ball.” Servicemember has a generally bad attitude and drags down unit morale.

Things that wouldn’t even cross my mind as being important are things that other NCOs seem to hold in the highest regard. I’m in the reserves and work a real job in the private sector, so meaningless bullshit is less important to me then general competence. But NCOs that were prior active duty for 10 years before being AGR and have never held a job outside the army look seem to only care about meaningless bullshit and don’t care at all about anything else.
