can you tell a quick story about it?
@stilawesome35862 жыл бұрын
@@trevorcole6360 I passed through anaconda in 05. They had air force, fast food, all the crap from the US set up there (movie theatre, mwr, gym, toilets that flushed, stores, etc. Even sweatshirts with "camp anaconda" being sold as soviniers for the air force people stationed there) I was in taji. We had trailers in the rural dessert with portajohns.

2004 Anaconda started in dirt floor tent, went to trailers 4 months in and fast food and movies showed up half way through that year. They were wasting their time watering palm trees and planting grass and we had incoming at least twice a day. Grass is so worth it.

I went to Anaconda once, after you've hit the fast-food joints there was nothing special about it. I "participated" in one of their bunker things. I told someone that this was normal at our FOB and we just dealt with it.

Yeah I passed through there a few times. It was much nicer than taji, which was literally in the middle of the damn desert with no running water, unless you could pull rank.
