A couple months ago, there was a massive storm in Ontario that knocked down a ton of trees. I made this whimsical bench using downed trees at a friend's cottage near Peterborough, Ontario.

truly fascinating what you can turn into an almost zero value object into something valuable - takes a lot of skill and the production quality is as always amazing!

Excellent! Amazing! The devastation and destruction of a storm turned into something fitting to honor the trees that sacrificed! Our trees make it possible to live on this planet and as such deserve our honor and respect. Well done! 🙏

time-honored tradition right here. You see stuff like this built all around Ontario cottage-country areas. Some ppl build sand castles and beer-cup forts, Morley out here building frikin benches hahaha

I really like your coffee table videos the best part was that you show how much everything cost and what was your profit, I seen other videos and say I sold it for 700 and don’t show what it really takes, thanks you brother keep up the great work

1. I love the attitude of 'Let's just make stuff', it seems like it's led you to having many skills. So cool. 2. I know next to nothing about wood, but I'm wondering if it needs to be treated in some way to be more durable? I have a notion in my mind that this bench may decay faster. Is this true? (Obviously time constraints, budget, materials, etc. are also at play)

Wow, just wow 🌷 There is a large patch of bamboo running down my mom's driveway in Canton NC ( a small town nestled in the heart of the Southern Appalachian Mountains, close to the Pigeon River, and 20 miles from downtown Asheville NC ) This patch of bamboo is approximatly 300 feet long and 60 feet wide. It's age is about 30 yrs old. The bamboo canes range from 5 to 25 feet tall . Diameter of canes are from 6 inches to 12 inches. Hoping you and those commenting will post some ideas of what I could make with these. Thank you in advance 🌷

I have a 100 year old Crepe Myrtle that unfortunately was hit by lightning, sadly it devastated it, but the branches that fell are curly and beautiful. I wonder This video has given me the idea of a bench for the garden, thank you🙏

Good effort I think it wouldn't work around where I live in the tropics unfortunately, cause the wet season turns exposed branches to mush. We've always been planning to use fallen mango tree branches for wood turning, probably for pens to start out with of course. (My father inherited my grandpa's wood lathe and we bought a pen making kit.) This would make me tempted to finally give it a crack but I'm moving out of home tomorrow aha. Anyway, good effort.

It does look different. Not sure it would be very comfortable sitting on for a long time, and I would think that the sap from the pine branches would easily transfer to clothes. Cool idea though.
