fzrrider582 The 899 is actually a tad heavier than my 1098 because of the added electronics, chain timing belts, and cast frame instead of trellis. Only reason I have Ducatis is my wife and I run a tight budget and don't vacation much at all. The last actual vacation we went on was our honeymoon back in 2006. #priorities

interestingly i felt and rode safer on my r1, than on my r6. i felt like i was all over the gears / brakes on the r6 and always up in the higher rev range to get it to do anything. i could just leave the r1 in 2nd or 3rd. they're both awesome bikes though and so agile
