Got to love the Dave v Carlini match up, always good banter
@robertlee3778
@robertlee3778 5 жыл бұрын
That was intense. Between the banter and fabulous game play, I think I had to rewind several times throughout the game, both to keep up with the moves and to also enjoy the banter. Brilliant moves throughout; tks @Brian for the insightful analysis, for sure, as always.

@mortlow6688

thats not his speciality its always happened if people play chess on a higher level ... but you right the art of chess is to turn this losing to you advantage ...1 opening 2 slaughter 3 chess genius or not - hahahaha

Before I start the game, i touch all my pawns and make sure my knights are facing forward, if you call that a superstition
@connorg615
@connorg615 6 жыл бұрын
My routine is the pieces need to be exactly the right way, knights facing each other, pawns aligned, bishops and king facing forward.

Instead of ba6+, ne3+ forking the rook and king. If Qxe3, then mate in 2 (qg2+ forcing ke1, qg1 mate). Black wins the exchange if q does not capture ne3.

10:12. Starting with Qg2+. Then trade queen. Then Ne3+ forking king, queen, and rook all. Then after king move then Ne3xQg2. Creating chain-knight. I think white is in winning position now.

Moves for this game: 1. d4 Nf6 2. Nf3 d5 3. c4 e6 4. Bg5 Be7 5. e3 c6 6. Nc3 Nbd7 7. Qb3 O-O 8. Rc1 h6 9. Bh4 b6 10. Qc2 Bb7 11. a3 Rc8 12. Bd3 dxc4 13. Bxc4 Nd5 14. Bxe7 Qxe7 15. O-O N7f6 16. Ba2 Rfd8 17. Bb1 c5 18. Rfd1 cxd4 19. exd4 Nf4 20. Ne5 Nxg2 21. Ng4 g6 22. Ne5 Nf4 23. f3 N6d5 24. Qd2 Qg5+ 25. Kf1 Nh3 26. Qxg5 Nxg5 27. Kf2 Nf4 28. h4 Ngh3+ 29. Kg3 g5 30. hxg5 hxg5 31. Kg4 Nf2+ 32. Kxg5 Nxd1 33. Rxd1 Nd5 34. Nxd5 Bxd5 35. Kf6 Bb7 36. Rg1+ Kf8 37. Rh1 Kg8 38. Nxf7 Interestingly, in the analysis 34...Bxd5 is considered bad as exd5 or Rxd5 is better. But even more horribly, after black takes Bxd5 it's actually mate in 8! :P Also, Dave was better for most of the game. Especially after 18. Rd1, which was a mistake. White even blundered with 22. Ne5. Then black blundered with Nh3 as he should have played Ba6+. Dave is good in opening but sucks at endgames. That much is clear... :D

How do you use the chess engine? Like should you check who gets advantage after each move, or only after black moves because white going first gives advantage?
