Garfield's teddy bear is named Pookie. He always sleeps with it in his cat bed or sometimes carries it around with him. Never saw Pookie get used as a boomerang before though.

I feel like these devs come up with the moveset first, and then add a character on to the wireframe with relevant props. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but most of the time the moves don’t make any sense.

@@DroneCorpse If you had watched or go and watch the older cartoons (namely the Garfield and Friends ones). You can see where most of these refs came from. One example is his tap dancing. Thats based on the intro of the show as well as an episode. Of course there are some that's been around in the comics before that came out.

Fun fact: Garfield’s stage’s layout is based on Pokémon Stadium (w/ hazards off), so yeah it most definitely will be a new competitive stage. The song slaps ngl 😎👍🏻

Much like Leo, Mikey, April, and the upcoming Shredder, Garfield feels more like a guest character than an actual Nickelodeon character. They are to Nickelodeon what Marvel and Star Wars are to Disney. Also, this wouldn't be the first time Garfield and Mikey have been in the same crossover. So, it happened short time ago, and, for many people, Garfield's cartoons debuted not with the Nick brand, or in the Nick's channel... So, even if Nick owns Garfield today, it so fresh it feels like Garfield is a guest chatacter... Like TMNT, but TMNT had more time to Nick produce TMNT cartoons under Nick's brand...

I am kind of surprised that he didn't seem to realize that the normal pies and the cream pies do actually act differently. The normal pies are one hit and seem to hit the enemy in place while the cream pies actually drag the enemy along with them for a few hits meaning they can be used to drag the enemy off stage in some instances. Also he always starts with the cream pie and then it cycles through two normal pies before another cream.
