I’m so glad you filmed the moment you uncovered the graves! I guess it just took multiple visits to prove to Nathan you were serious about bringing him into the light again. How serendipitous Mr. Walton showed up when he did. Just amazing!

Hey Robert, a lot of peeps from Georgia came to Colorado during the gold rush. We have a house in our historical society called The Baugh House. It has been preserved and is part of a park. Highly possible this branch of Baugh family came from your Baughville. No I haven't researched but I found its interesting and coincidental though. Just maybe hmmm. Really good series of episodes .

I hope someone will clear the cemetery now that you’ve found it. Congratulations on your finding these graves and thank you for your not giving up the search! I’m sure descendants of these people will be grateful to know where their family members are laid to rest.

I took note of your comment that you feel you know these departed folks in their lost graves. I put together 3 family trees in 3 years, back in 2015 to 2018. ( It's amazing to whom you are related ). The more research i did, the more i knew the ancestors. I would follow the father's family line till there was no more information available. Then i worked my way back, again going down parents' lines, till i reached my starting point. Many a long night of insomnia... my husband is related to the present English King Charles, through Alfred the Great and William the Conquerer. We both share ancestors in the 700 AD,s to 800 AD,S plus Mark Antony and Cleopatra, if you believe everything you read. So, ancestors, cemeteries, churchyards, graveyards are truly fascinating places to me. Google Earth will allow you to zoom in and take screenshots of these places, print them out and put the pic in the family tree folder.

I just listened to Dan describe the whole story of the B 15:46 aughs and all of the detail. It's just incredible how much he knows. The detail of moving through generations in his head is just absolutely mindblowing to me. I don't think i've ever heard a better historian in my life. I think this is one of the best KZbin channels. The only problem I see is that if someone doesn’t have the land cleaned up and the cemetery marked with a sign that property could end up being cleared for a shopping center or a housing development
@cchaffincc6 ай бұрын
Doubtful. This is in the middle of nowhere.
@wendysuemesny37576 ай бұрын
One day it could be. Depends on the laws about removal or relocation. Private properties can be done with what the owners want to do. Although it's far away, only time will tell. There are many stories where this has happened.

As a native of the area, I can assure you that a shopping center would probably be built on the moon before it will be here. Thank goodness!!

There were so many lives that were forgotten and these people had children and feelings and were loved. And it's just such a joy to see them being re discovered again And that finally they can have a new voice and an identity in some form. Thank you for all that you do your videos are gifts.
