Do you know when it was began to celebrate ‘easter’?..., it was when pagans was overnight turned into ‘christians’ by the Roman Empire, n in fact both Easter n Christmas was ‘adopted’ from pagans at that very same time, just read the roman historic empiric chronicles. It’s even documented in profane history how it happened. NO!, the apostles did NOT celebrate ‘Easter’ nor Pessach, the latter was bc Jesus sacrifice made it no longer necessary to celebrate the liberation of the Hebrews from Egypt. The mosaic law was in place to prepare the people for the Messiah, that’s why they all were waitin for him to surface at the time of Jesus birth. What the apostles ‘celebrated’ was a ceremony to commemorate the death of Jesus, more exactly the sacrifice that figuratively speakin was made with the spill of his blood, n to commemorate n remember the new covenant that Jesus instated about them to become part of the prophecized Kingdom of Heaven where they were to rule together with Christ Jesus. They didn’t even celebrated his resurrection, in fact those that did was seen as apostates bc there were no scriptural ground for doin so, n Jesus never commanded it, the only thing he DID command was to commemorate his death with the bread n wine ceremony once per year. Apostasy was a reality already shortly after Jesus death Apostle Paul says several times in his epistles.

You’re right it was determined before that bc the 25th of December was the birthday of Saturn that’s why the church simply switched out Saturn for Jesus n boom all of the sudden those romans was ‘christian’ with pretty much nothin changed, they kept their old traditions n feasts only that it was with a christian ‘branding’. Jesus was for certain not born as late as December 25th bc there’s a very good indication of that it rather happened as early as end of September beginnin of October, you see there were no shepherds out in the fields in late December, the herds were indoors from middle of November to long into January. There’s also the the fact that the trip Joseph made with a pregnant Mariah on a donkeys back wouldn’t had been possible that late bc the roads weren’t suited for travel at that time with them being muddy n slippery n also the fact that Joseph n Mariah actually traveled uphill ...on a slippery slope? I don’t think so. The roman emperor called for the census in August so that makes it quite logical that they made the trip in September/October. As for the greek words(you’re referrin to the Septuaginth(idk what you call it in English we call it Septuaginta)?) I’m not good in it so I’ll leave that out for now.

As for your reference to apostolic celebration..., what’s your source on that?, bc the only reference to any celebration at all sanctioned by the apostles is what apostle Paul says in 1st Corinthians 11:23-34. As for Christmas..., it’s impossible that the apostles or the first christians celebrated Jesus birthday at all bc celebrations of birthdays were only made by pagan people such as the romans, the greeks, n the egyptians even before that, also note the reference in the Bible that king Herodes celebrated a birthday at which John the Baptist was beheaded n Herodes was not a real jew, he was only there bc he was put in his place by the Roman Empire.
