I think it's because I hear alot about people dying. Well now thanks to you, your cheerfulness and willingness to stand up for us aging women I plan to stop dwelling on what could happen and concentrate on what is happening. Being a red head (natural) I always looked after my skin - until I was 75. I was struck down with one serious medical problem after another. The doctors gave me two years and, here I am, FOUR years later. All the medications have played havoc with my skin and, only lately, I have decided to do something about it. Not sure where to start but I'm working on it. Dryness seems to be the biggest problem and money (after medical expenses ) is another as I can't afford the top products. You have given me the incentive to keep going so thank you 😊

Dear Nikol:. I am a 47 year old professional woman....like you, I have a busy career, own my own business, no children. I identify with you so much and you have made such a impact on me...thank you. Even though people have told me I am beautiful all my life, I have been plagued with low self-esteem surrounding my appearance since my teen years. I wasted so much energy on this negative talk in my head, believing that my value was in my physical appearance only. I do feel more beautiful, stronger, more relevant and confident now at 47 than I did at 21. And yet, the world seems to want the opposite for me and for all women....like you, I am sick of what I hear and see in the beauty industry. I have never done botox or any procedures...while so many of my peers are. I am fighting the pressure...and it angers me that I have to "fight the pressure" to just be myself in my own skin. Your message is simple but powerful and it is seeping into my psyche slowly....the words "celebrate", "fierce", "beautiful" come into my head a lot more these days when I look at myself in the mirror. I do not even know if you fully realize how much you are impacting us. I started watching you simply because I found it intriguing that a woman, around my age, was putting herself out there confidently with her gorgeous grey hair and telling us all to just "do you". I love love your message, love your videos, love your products. (oh and love how you have helped me to simplify my beauty routine too!!! I used to think I had to have everything "perfect" and you have freed me of this....). Thank you.

Nikol, please ignore the aging comments and articles. The best way to age is gracefully! We who are in in 70’s are still contributing so much to society, we are younger because we help everyday with our grandchildren because our daughters are so busy running their own businesses and need help. My husband and scramble from one after school activity to another to help along with others in their 70’s. Yes we are still active and “younger than our parents or grandparents were”, because of necessity. I love how you help me still feel good about my age and allow me to enjoy taking care of my skin and care about using my daytime makeup. Love you because you are are absolutely stunning and you choose to be you! Always be yourself, because your glowing skin and beauty comes through!❤️🤩

For years often thought fashion was missing the mark. Older women have the money to afford quality fashion. But we experienced life enough to not get screwed on pricing. Which has gotten out of control. If I were younger and had the knowledge would love to have started fashion for the older crowd. At 65 am going strong and will continue for many years of fashion and makeup!!!

Love your comments about the fashion and beauty industry. As mature women, we have buying power that younger women lack. Our children are grown and usually finished with their education. We have more funds to work with now. More time to pamper our selves. We can choose to make ourselves a priority. Not everyone else in the household. We can afford good, ready to wear fashion. We can think about our next chapter in our lives. Going back to school, learning a new hobby, and volunteering, we now have choices. Don't listen to the negativity. Embrace the positive and what makes us happy. You are always inspiring and do an amazing job.

Thank you Nikol! I'll be 68 in few months (don't look my age) and just 'really' began wearing makeup last year. Had no clue how to apply. Your detailed instructions on eyeliner, mascara ("put it on the base"), and eye shadow have changed my face! My boyfriend said my eyes looked bluer and wide-eyed and rested (I'd had 2 hours sleep night before). The look in HIS eyes told me you are a genius! 😍

I am so glad that I have been watching your channel for at least a month! I appreciate your thoughtful comments on the Fashion Industry. We all need to feel fantastic about who we are as opposed to looking at the negativity from the advertisements in pretty much every women focused magazines! As a 62 year old woman, I know that I am not going to wear anything that is not comfortable, flattering to my body, or ridiculous colors! Thank you for all of your comments and discussions that you share online!

This video is gorgeous! Thank you! I’m loving the emerging conversation about how GenX women refuse to become invisible with age and how we’re demanding acknowledgment. I love that you chose this palette. After one of your recent videos, I challenged myself to learn to work with different colors and with sheen and shimmer eyeshadows. I’ve always been a matte girl, and I still love mattes and will absolutely buy your new palettes upon release, but it’s time to grow and to learn something new. I bought a navy shadow stick, and one Estée Lauder and two Chanel palettes that are all out of my comfort zone and I’m having so much fun working with them. I really appreciated how you talked through your doubt and your thought process in this video! That was SO helpful! ❤

Wow!! I look at your eyes and think, “I can pull that off”. So beautiful and out of my comfort zone. Thank you. I’m concerned about one thing though, I suffer with a chronic aging condition of dry eyes. The meiobium glands (oil glands) in both upper and lower eye lids become clogged and do not secrete enough oil to prevent the tears in my eyes from evaporating, which left untreated is very painful. My ophthalmologist has been able to help me maintain the problem. However, has cautioned me not to line the water line of my lid as liners can clog the oil glands. I hope it just me though as your eyes look stunning. 🤗😉

I too suffer from dry eyes. I have tear troughs. I have found a product that has helped with my dry eyes, a nightly heat compress from Bruder, to help the oil glands produce again. Great results so far. Would love to see a video for ladies who wear glasses. I have a hard time getting any makeup to stay on my face even with primer and setting power. It all end up on my glasses.

Castor oil helps with dry eyes! (and much more). Just apply castor oil lightly on eyelids, like a eye creme (I like Goodbye Company, others like Queen of Thrones brand). Helped my dry eyes a lot! (See Barbara O’Neill videos on this for info)❤

I have been really having problems, as of late, with the aging process, but you are helping me to accept myself, as I am. Thank you for your great videos, and for helping me feel less insecure. Wishing you the best! ❤️

Again, thank you. NIKOL. I'm a 77 year old woman who has for years had many of the questions you've been discussing. I'm pleased to say... my favorite skin care company, Strivectin, has older women showing before and after pictures and modeling the creams. Thrilling!!! Also, I like Chicos for relaxed, Fl year-round clothes. They have models with gray hair and a few wrinkles! Wow! Still scary skinny, but with gray hair! It's so validating... 🎉

I would like to point out every woman needs to feel acknowledged - even ones that do not carry an Hermes bag that are older and beautiful. Brands as well as people in general should recognize the woman can be beautiful at any age especially an older woman, especially one that is hard-working or perhaps has not been blessed with a lot of wealth.

Wanted to tell the ladies ordering your lip products that I definitely recommend Manifest & Glow and Champs lip gloss. Each of those glosses can really enhance lipsticks. I especially like those glosses for taking a darker lip color to more neutral daytime look. Question: I like B&B creams most days, but do you have more traditional coverage foundations that you recommend for those of us age 60 plus?

I agree whole heartedly with your view of society not giving older ladies their due! I watched a model (who had to be in her twenties) demonstrate a product meant to cover under eye dark circles. The problem was that I couldn't see anything close to what I would call a dark circle before she used the concealer! I can't tell you how many products I have purchased with little to no results! While I can lessen the degree of darkness, nothing (but surgery) is going to help with the bags! As an artist, I have tried using dark vs. light colors to create a trompe l'oeil effect, to no avail. At seventy plus years, I am finally coming to the realization that I shall have to grin and bear it. 🥴 Thankyou for all the great make-up tips! ❤

NIKOL! What about eye makeup for women who must wear eyeglasses? Do we use color more generously? Or stay with the same application as everyone else? Heavier eyeliner? Etc.
