That was actually the funniest game I have seen from the command zone. It got a lot more complex than it usually does, which in my mind, from following for some years now, is refreshing. If anyone wonders why jetmir works like that: 4/29/2022 If a creature with double strike loses double strike after dealing damage during the first combat damage step but before dealing damage in the second combat damage step, it will not deal damage during that second combat damage step. Notably, this means that if your ninth creature dies in the first combat damage step, the rest of your creatures won't deal combat damage again unless something else is granting them double strike.
@therealax6Ай бұрын
The exact rule in question: 510.4. If at least one attacking or blocking creature has first strike (see rule 702.7) or double strike (see rule 702.4) as the combat damage step begins, the only creatures that assign combat damage in that step are those with first strike or double strike. After that step, instead of proceeding to the end of combat step, the phase gets a second combat damage step. The only creatures that assign combat damage in that step are the remaining attackers and blockers that had neither first strike nor double strike as the first combat damage step began, as well as the remaining attackers and blockers that currently have double strike. After that step, the phase proceeds to the end of combat step.

Also, idk if this will help for next time, but I noticed tapping and untapping the lands over and over was getting to be difficult at one point. An acquaintance of mine has an Omo list, and he places all of the lands with the same kind of counter in a pile with a counter on top (or nearby if he plans to use them) to mark them. I've tried it out before, and it really helps when you're tapping and untapping things with counters.
