What a blast on sounds and playing, wow! The pedal comes through as a really interesting discovery in the big world of distortion pedals. Great finding!

If I recall correctly the Silver Jubilee used LEDs for the clipping. I know Blackstar also used LEDs in some of their crunch circuits too, I know because I had to replace them once (surface mount what fun! LOL!!) take care Jay!

Yep, that's correct. LEDs are used in quite a few places. I have used them myself in drive pedal builds too - pretty awesome sound that they give. Its so cool to have the option to switch between them and see how they compare. A lot of fun! Yikes! Yeah I can imagine replacing those in a Blackstar was as much fun as stubbing your toe! Lol! Have an awesome day brother! 🤘

Bang up demo Jay. Your SLO sounds great anyway then throw this in front and BAM!...........that chewy plexi tone just oozes out.

Thanks man! Yes the SLO is so so awesome. I love that amp! It was so cool that the pedal worked so well with it. It gave me some great tones! Have an awesome day!

Jay, is that a Luke? Never see one with fret markers like that.
@jayguitar2 ай бұрын
Hey Rick, hows it going? Yes thats a Sterling Luke. The fret markers are by my friends over at Fretlook. They hooked me up with some pretty awesome vinyl markers. These fit the Luke really well! Have an awesome day!

Hey dude, hows it going? Hope all is good! Thanks man! Really glad you enjoyed the tones! It does sound good, doesn't it?! I do love my Jake tones as well - my Marshall JAKE20 amp takes care of those tones. Different vibe - Plexi/800 vs SLO - so very different tone profiles. I like both 😊 I often stack a Marshall on the left and SLO on the right, works pretty well that way to create a really thick wall of guitars sound. Have an awesome day!

Cool pedal, but for over $400 total with shipping and tax to the US... That is extremely expensive!!!
@jayguitar2 ай бұрын
Wow! Thats is pricy. I can understand. I have had a few instances where I have had to import to pedals and gear from the USA to UK and same happened to me. I gritted my teeth and did it as the gear was worth it but I totally understand that it adds to the cost 🙏 Have an awesome day!
