I would suggest adding a 1/3 of parsley to the amount of greens you added to help combat the oxalic acid.

I can’t do citrus because of the acidity and my chronic bladder pain so I usually just use blueberries and bananas in my smoothies because they are tolerable on my bladder but I will definitely be adding chia seeds, Greek yogurt, and protein powder because of this video thanks!

Thanks for this, Autumn. I find myself pretty full from break-fast (around 11 a.m.) and don't actually feel like having a big dinner. I actually seem to be hungry early in the day not later so I was thinking of flipping the meals and having food early in the day and a smoothie for dinner, especially in the summer. So this is perfect. I'm eating two times a day with a bowl (greek yogurt, chia pudding or something like that) or eggs and salad for the first meal and a smoothie for the second meal will be perfect.

I’m looking forward to making this tonight! I wasn’t aware there is a plant based greek yogurt. I didn’t see anything online. Would love to get some suggestions since I don’t like any type of milk yogurt at all. Update: I made this smoothie this morning to break my fast and it is by far the best tasting smoothie I’ve ever had! I used coco yo yogurt and egg white protein powder instead since I’m not a fan of any milk like substances and it was awesome. I had to slow down my drinking it and chew on some pistachios to help keep me from gulping it down. And I’m so glad that I can move away from plant based milks and it still tastes amazing. Autumn this smoothie is a game changer for me, thank you!

This smoothie sounds delicious. Freezing the pineapple would keep it more chilled and maybe make it a bit thicker. The blender can make ingredients warm.

I can't eat gluten foods. Celiac disease, but actually I found a blessing in disgust! You see after cutting out wheat I found my hungry cravings (cravings of salads or eating, but no sugar cravings!) decreased by 2/3! I ate 1/3 of what I used to eat. After doing some research I found that the new wheat that is GMO which the majority of the world uses now (this is when people started having problems with eating wheat because of gluten issues as 5% is unknown what the wheat is today! So this appetite stimulate called wheat explained why I was constantly hungry. If your interested in learning about wheat I recommend the book called "Wheat Belly, by Dr. William Davis. Very informative!

Hmm i prefer berries over pineapples but I'll try it!!! I also make my shakes water based as i usually add half an 🥑 and greek yogurt. Perfect timing as I've ran out of my vanilla protein powder. Checking out the nutrition facts, it shows 2 scoops for 20 grams of protein. In the video you mentioned if we wanted 30 grams, to take 2 scoops. This doesn't add up. Wouldn't 30 grams of protein = 3 scoops? Is your bag a 30 day supply? Thank you 🤗💜

Enjoy! And yes, it's 10 grams from the protein powder, 10 grams from the greek yogurt. So if you want 30 grams, you could increase it to 2 scoops of protein powder for 20 grams from protein powder and 10 grams from greek yogurt.

Hello Autumn, this smoothie looks sooo good! Do you ship your protein power to Europe? I'm looking for a good protein powder but it's pretty difficult to find a good one and yours looks great! Little anecdotal experience: this morning, after a bad night shift, I was so hungry I decided to eat a croissant: bad decision😂! I spent the rest of the morning feeling worse than during the shift😂😂, I had a mixed sense of nausea and starvation. I started IF few days ago and I definitely can tell the difference😊

Wanted to ask when weight training with intermittent fasting is it ok to delay your intake of protein for more than 2 hours? I do a 16:8 and normally break at 10 but I train at 6-7. Is your zero sugar protein one that won’t break the fast? Thanks

You can store it in the fridge to extend the shelf life of it if you don’t use it often. However, it is like ghee- clarify butter, coconut oil, olive oil,…you can just leave it out on the counter.

It goes hard like normal butter It is ridiculously easy to make if you want to go down that path. It’s basically putting unbleached shredded or shaved coconut into a good blender then blend away, scraping the sides at first, then it literally turns into coconut butter. 👍

Given your science degrees would have been in metric. How do you go using metric measurements? Thanks btw. I don’t have to google Oz conversions lol. Believe it not Australia switched from Imperial to Metric 1/2 way through my Elementary school years. I ‘still’ struggle with height & distance. If someone said how many metres is it to your back fence? No idea. 🤷♀️ but I can ‘maybe 25 feet!’ Lol If some is described as 174cm tall I’m like 😳? If someone says 5’ 6” then I can visualise it. 🤦♀️ Could you add a raw egg or avocado to the smoothie?

Coconut oil has a bit of a different nutrient profile than coconut butter. You could use coconut shreds instead of coconut butter for something more similar.

I've found when it's blended into a smoothie, it's fairly easily digested and will essentially form a "gel" from the liquid inside the smoothie.
