Oh I can believe never using the logistics button. He's used to playing majors only. Probably just looks at his production screen to see what he's making and how much of it is stocked since it's right there. Really only need the Logistics Screen I find when you're a small nation getting Lend Leased and using captured equipment a lot.

See now even playing major; I check out that tab like it's giving me free divisions: all the damn time. I don't really know why, but if everything in that tab isn't green when I start an assault; I die a little bit inside.

Its easier just to check logistics tho, and it gives you an estimate (accurate) when you go from minus back to plus in equipment. That way its easier to plan how much artillery you need to produce to get enough of it in 150 days for example.

Military police have the best stats for non artillery support. Personally I recommend using them for all your templates since you only need one level of them for their best version.

You should have pushed with your main army when you launched the paratroopers. Either the enemy moves off the front line to crush your paratroops letting you gain ground on the front line easier, or they all end up pinned on every tile and your paratroopers have a better chance to consolidate or take a few more points letting you capitulate the target. The important thing to think about when doing paratrooper raids is "combined arms support", you want Overlords not Market Gardens

at one point the paras and the front were only a tile away spent most of it only 2, even if it the core strategy failed a little front line push could have saved you some man power and equipment in disbannded/retreatd paras instead of encircled/overran bois

I used to use parratroopers to help with encircling enemies. Grab a decent amount of 10 widths and a decent amout of tank divisions on two points, then I'd send the paratroopers in and once they've landed, the tanks begin their attack at the time this was a really OP strat. Edit: KZbin thought Attack at was a website... and not a bunch of words so I dunno don't click on it.
