I love how people won’t consider these homes because it “mobile”. I’d kill to have a house like this.
@hockeh92304 жыл бұрын
SuperDuty Zack I build these everyday it’s not cause they’re mobile it’s cause they don’t last. They don’t have the life of a real slabbed home. They’re pushed out of these plants so fast with so many problems and so cheaply built
@superdutyzack4 жыл бұрын
Hockeh very true, I lived in one for about 15 years when I was kid and it was pretty solid. I didn’t even know it was a mobile home growing up as a kid. After it sold in like 2005 the people who have it are family friends and I go there quite often and it has no more wear than any other home. Guess all that matters is who the company is that makes them and quality of parts.
@gaylemcclure15334 жыл бұрын
SuperDuty Zack I wonder if you could recommend a quality builder of these homes. I’m really interested in getting one and want to leave it to my kid when I pass. I’d like it to last thank you

Same! My parents have that mentality that mobile or pre fab homes aren't real. Well it beats the run down apartment home I live in now!! Ppl have these misconceptions abt mobile homes b/c they're thinking abt the run down shacks built in the 70s.
@superdutyzack4 жыл бұрын
Gayle McClure The extent of my knowledge for mobile homes is there are a bunch of builders of them throughout the country and they tend to be territorial. Some mobile home sellers will only sell or deliver to some states because of the difference in building codes. I recommend just going to as many local mobile home sellers in your area and see who offers the best warranties and best quality construction.

Actually, you're right - the room with the washer and dryer IS the utility room. The small room next to the front door with the hooks on the wall is the mud room. In some houses, the utility room serves as a mud room, but this house has both. Love your channel!

I was sold the moment you walked into the home and panned to the left to reveal the coat closet. My jaw actually dropped. Kitchen is HUGE and I love all that counter space! My current kitchen is the size of a shoebox (not really, but you know what I mean), so I really, really adore the kitchen. All the windows are a big plus too. Love natural light.Very, VERY impressed with this home.

WOW! Love this house! SOLD! I am buying with only few modifications: brushed black stainless appliances/fixtures, removing wall between pantry room and "utityty" room (by the way I love how you say that and your Southern charm!), and removing all carpet. That's it. Have been looking for a long time and so happy to see this model. Love the unique backsplash in kitchen. Was happy to see a design carried as a "feature" wall inside the Master shower! Love the up-front, spacious, and built-in storage and hooks in muck room. I hate putting shoes near front door. Love it!!! Love the mint-green. Calming and peaceful. Love the Master Closet!!! Absolutely LOVE the way the builder thoughtfully pulled the kitchen design into the "pantry room". By removing the wall, I am extending that design through into the utility room to make it a craft area/utility/pantry. And the price is absolutely amazing! Thanks Chance! You are doing great. Do not apologize. Your charm is why most (including myself) keep coming back. Show everything you can because it helps these homes sell! Love your charm. Thank you and bless you for always saying "Blessings!" at the end!

I keep coming back to this home. No matter how many I look at, this one still stands out as one of the sweetest you have shown. Of course, I love kitchens and master bedroom closets! This one has both! If it had a covered deck, it would be 'hands down' the best. As for the comments on how long manufactured homes last, we have owned and lived in a 1990 model all these years and it's still going strong. It depends on how you take care of them. We kept improving ours with real home materials over the years. Long gone are the carpeted floors, because we didn't like them anymore. We replaced the shingled roof with a metal roof, etc. We added another one to our property for another family member. This one is so tempting! There are several more acres here! LOL! We like the one that's fit for a King and Queen, too. (Love that covered deck on that one!)

I think think this is the biggest mobile home I have ever seen. Some body will be happy with this one.

This is a magnificent innovative home. I've been trying to think of the best way to praise the layout. Here it is. I WOULD BUY THIS HOUSE! With only a few decor changes, it is perfect. I especially like the built in dining nook (is 'nook' the right word?). I personally like the patterned tile, but am not a fan of white cabinets. But that's easy to change. The glass sliding door is well placed for a deck. I'm not sure where to put a garage, but probably outside the "mudroom" door. The walk-in shower in the master bath is exactly what I like. No door! I would probably put a shower rather than a combo in the guest bath. BTW, the price is right. I've seen lesser houses for much more money.

I totally LOVE the Master Bathroom!! And the closet is an ABSOLUTE DREAM CLOSET!! But i'd want mine connected to the bathroom! When you were showing how it wraps around I thought it,was wrapping around to the bathroom & then when it didn't i was all like disappointed.
@ghshinn4 жыл бұрын
@@lisapopken9229 I prefer a master closet to open into the bedroom rather than the bath. There are a couple of reasons, mainly related to my wife and my ages (we are over 70). It's difficult for us to go too far for clothing, especially for my wife as she's a semi-invalid. I don't like going through the bathroom for another reason. It requires that I go from a carpeted room to a bare floor, which affects my arthritis. If I were younger, I might have your view of the closet opening into the bathroom.

And the master closet, OMG there is more room in there than there is in my sons bedroom. This is one really nice home, Chance. I could go for a seat in the master shower, but as it is, I like it. And I agree with Marlene Guyton, I too like the way you say 'utility'.

Omg I am in love. The wide open floor plan, huge kitchen with all these cabinets and counters pace. The ceramic sicilian backsplash, butlers pantry is amazing! Dining table attached to island is great idea. The master bedroom is beautiful. The walkin closet with the island, it's like a mansion. How they fit so much into this home. I love the entire bathroom setup esp that walkin shower. The 2 separate mud rooms, awesome. But being a chef, the kitchen an butlers pantry are my favorite.

(If anything I would like more info about the construction specs etc.) OK, so this is the very best house design over all that I have seen so far, and that is saying something because I have looked at sooo many designs. As a designer I really appreciate how they set this up to feel luxurious, spacious and unique. (wish the outside was the same). Only thing I still would change would be the textured ceilings and the seam down the center. I big pet peeve for me. I adore the master closet too. No wire shelving!!! I like the master bath as well. Not too big, not too small. I prefer a free standing tub but it is not a deal breaker. Oh and a window in the water closet!!!! Ya!!!! This one might be in our future.

These houses all seem to have that same long ugly flat front. The stacked stone on this one is pretty but it still screams mobile home"ish." The homes are mostly all beautiful on the inside, I just wish they could add something on the outside to make them a bit more attractive. That being said, this is definitely one of my favorites of all that I have seen and I've seen too many to count. I would however, prefer bar stools around the island instead of the bench seat for the table. You're doing a great job showing the homes. Love this house, love the layout, the storage space, entry walk-in closet, storage/pantry room in the kitchen. Love the huge shower--that's usually sacrificed for the large tub. The only thing I don't care for is the built-in dining area. I suspect in the long run the kitchen would be more livable with more dining table space rather than the L-shaped counter. You'd be giving up the cabinet storage below the counter, but the ample walk-in pantry makes up for that.

I love the features in this home, including the foyer cloak room, the butler's pantry off the kitchen and the utility/mud room just for starters.

I love the layout minus the master being with all the other bedrooms

I'm in my 3rd manufactured home, the single wide sucked, crappy bath tubs, leaking windows. I am in the our 2nd double wide on land, they have no more problems than a real house. The first one, I upgraded the carpet, windows, bathtubs, re-sided it and was was in great shape when we sold it after 20 yrs. Actually regretted moving within a couple of years. Nothing wrong with manufactured homes, and the place you're showing is nicer than a stick built house we had.

I really like this one. And yes, I'm one of the ones saying no to the tile in the master shower. lol If it were me I would make that small mud room by the front door an office. that would be a perfect spot for a office instead of a massive closet. I kinda felt like that was wasted space there.

I tough the same about the tile in the master room and the mud/closet at the entrance.

I didn't think it was wasted space at all, I always think having a place for coats, shoes, bags . . . stuff that becomes clutter needs a place when you come into a home. This one even had a window which I love. I love the door so you can close it off, a bench to sit on and well, I love it, and when I have people over it gets very busy. For me, it wouldn't have to be that big, but I still love it, and since there isn't one in the back of the home, this is perfect. But I am sure you could make it an office if you wanted.

I like that the vents are in the ceiling. The older homes used to have them in the floor and many were in the line of traffic and they never seemed to add extra bracing making the floors weak in that spot.

Oh wow. I think I am the first. Really like all of the light/windows. I am not sure I like all of these little side rooms.

I absolutely love the mud room, I really enjoyed all the windows for natural light. The layout is very nice it goes really well with all of the natural light, it could save on electricity which is actually very nice. The home seems perfect for the country with a big pond.

This home is gorgeous.The only draw backs are the size of the 2 bedrooms and not able to fit a dinningroom set in there but I do like how they have the kitchen table set connected to the kitchen with the bench sitting.If I was to buy this home I definitely would add more square footage to it.
@DKEK44 жыл бұрын
justbippy I agree. The built in benches are nice but I have a nice dining set with benches and chairs. I would like to utilize that counter top for some bar stools. Maybe it’s an option.

Lovely home! 1. Coat area. 2. Butler’s pantry. .3. Plenty of storage in kitchen! Back splash for stove. 4. Master closet!!! 5. Master bath!! 5. Stationary shower door. I don’t mind closet in bathroom - depends on layout. I don’t like a lot of big windows in bathroom. Like all the storage so things aren’t laying around. Enjoy your presentation style.
