He is going in reverse through time back to the beginning. Life didn't start with Jesus. He was known as the son of God, and the son of "man". Soooo. Who is the "man", he would have been the son of.... Hint.. he was the first. At the very beginning. ;-)

sorry about this, but you just gave me an entire epiphany that i'm sure everyone else already had. HOLY SHIT IT'S CALLED PREQUEL, THIS ENTIRE SAGA HAS BEEN HIS FALL, BUT BACKWARD.... LITERALLY FALLING IN REVERSE "Prequel" (last video release) - his attempt to help which leads to his persecution. It's epic, dramatic, and concerned in tone, almost reminiscent of naivety brought on by hope without experience. "Ronald" (middle video release) - he's being transported through a dead and same-y city where he fights a system hell bent on getting rid of him and eventually gets sucked into hell. it's tone is vengeful and angry, yearning to sort the confusion of how the world can be this way and eventually succumbing to darkness. "Watch the world burn" (first video release) - he's had enough. it's time to end this plane of existence because the rot has infected it thoroughly, from the lowest caverns filled with monsters to highest institutions which we're supposed to trust. the tone is stable and resolute until the switch up where he reaches the "action" phase of everything and does what he feels needs to be done, attacking the corrupted systems we're supposed to trust. I won't even get into the speculation of how tech n9ne being the sort of "angel of purgatory" probably led to the final song being predominantly hip hop with all the punk rock and metal saved for when he needed to unleash his rage at the end. how this band managed to top the trilogy-ness of the "losing my _____" songs.... well, that's truly beyond me. but HOHMAGAWD I'm happy your analysis brought on this epiphany. damn.

Ronnies mother was a junkie that abandoned him when he was 7. He has played piano since the age of 9, then learned guitar and drums as well. He later turned to heroin himself. You can read more about his history, but that should give you a little insight into his music.

Stacey, have you listened to the Scorpions? German band from the 70's / 80's. Couple of great songs "Still Loving You" (a real heartache ballad), and "Wind of Change" (fall of the Berlin Wall).
