The inventory containers could be differentiated with RGB lights that can be set by the player. Red/white is health items. Blue/green is food items. Red/black is weapons. This way CIG could make one box type and the player defines them as needed.

i think we need some sort of gatlings in our hangar. it cant be that players enter a hangar, loot whatever they want and then get kicked (safe exit). if the hangars can get janked, there is a big problem for me.

Note. I hope that in the future, related to party members being able to go into your hanger. Once orgs and massive ships become the norm (Kinda already is). I hope you can control who can and cant access your stuff and to what level. Even like based on Org rank. Say top 5 officers can enter your hanger but not anyone else, or only certain friends can call your ships, etc Just food for thought

Since they are supposedly increasing the size of some hangars, they might also need to wait for some landing zones/stations to be modified by other teams.

I don't know much about game design or really even MMO's... but since the hangars are gonna be instanced, couldn't they just handwave the physicalized space needed for the hangar to exist, until later? Since the hangar will essentially be its own separate entity.

@@zachhoefs9543 But I think the hangar doors connecting the instanced interiors to outside world need to be enlarged as well. If they only enlarge the interior, but the not doors, it'll still be hard to enter/exit the hangars with larger ships.

Wish they would have been able to fit hangers in, but they made the right call. If it's not ready, better to wait rather than push it in broken. Chad seems like he understands everything we want, and I trust him and his team are going to deliver what we want once it's ready to go.

my ONLY question being, if cargo loading are no longer automatic, you'd have to load by hand...how do you deal with Catac Railen .... it has 300, exteneral ...cargo boxes...and they don't look like huge boxes..... how do you deal with that awesome, fancy looking...very interesting allien cargo ship ...

what this SCL said to me was... they could have released it in 3.23. but... then they'd have to do a full persistence wipe 2 hours later. the economy would have borked immediately. . i acutally like Chad. he's a great dude.

Haven’t played any 3.23 yet …but man, everyone is saying (a lot of sources like you I watch) that it seems they just randomly typed in ship spec numbers and everything feels like a brick and ship variants are the same except the skin …and I just found out diff components used to have diff stats instead of just diff names :/ I duno man but don’t feel too good to know this, hopefully they change stuff right but, ya know, CIG :/

3.23 is almost 2 quarters late, Replication layer is almost a year late ( and has made the game essentially unplayable ). You all realize Jarred is paid damage control right he is paid to lie to you guys. They are so scared that this garbage patch tanks the invictus week sale and that's it.
