Folks, HotD s#2 just wasn't very good. Hate it but true. Here's another for ya...Penguin is a mess. At best it hits notes of Daredevil, at worst it's a narrative mess that has incredibly unconvincing elements and paints a silly comic book world that doesn't feel comic book or world. The 2nd lead was good but fell off a gigantic cliff w/ insanely stupid behavioral psychology nonsense. It could be AMAZING, but needs to drop the 3-person modern trio trope. Just focus on Penguin

The example that sticks out to me is when CyberPunk 2077 was just released. A reviewer didn’t continue playing because she didn’t want to help the in-game law enforcement, so she didn’t progress through the story. It was lambasted for good reason. That wasn’t one of them. You're right, therefore this situation shows they have some level of wanting to tarnish Tolkien:s legacy. Or they think so lowly of it, maybe they see it as overvalued, that they're ok with damaging it somehow for an amount of money. I.E. they have no intention to protect it in any capacity. This is a common thing, older generations either fail at passing on that protective and loving intention or a generation down the line eventually doesn't care at all about something in the past. It's a shame really, that's how we lose precious things from the past by just not caring a hoot about it.
