Kevin was the youngest person to perform at Carnegie Hall. Age 17 playing a horn. Yale grad, was headed to medical school then Scott found him on youtube and they needed a beatboxer. He already had a massive number of hit/watches. They are now all multimillionaires and of course Avi has been gone from the group for quite awhile pursuing his own solo career.

This song gets me every time! I read that they had to make Scott grip onto the backs of those chairs so he wouldn’t use his hands like he usually does when he sings. Must have been extremely difficult for him!

Glad you got to this one...this is one of my favorites with Kirsti taking it front to back in a great emotional arc. Starting out sad and depressed, ending angry and defiant, it's like a mini-drama. I also love the way the song is constructed, especially when they build the harmony one-by-one in the middle. And of course it's always a treat to hear Avi and Kevin get a vocal turn. Thanks!

Wow! This was from their earlier years. Kevin is a BEAST with perfect pitch. They all tune to him and watching KO Beatboxing and Cello at the same time. Kevin has a Musical Degree from Yale. The great harmony comes from their childhood. Scott and Mitch met when they were 10 years old and Kirstin got involved in CATS= Community Arts Theater a couple of years later. They had their own 3 member band but NBC said to participate in the "Sing-off" it had to be 5 or more. They found Kevin through his own KZbin channel and Avi was a friend of a friend.
